Villa Koules - Vacation villa with private pool in Crete, Greece

"We had such a lovely wonderful family holiday. Everything went smoothly from checking in to check out. The villa was super clean, well equipped and the pool area was especially gorgeous. The area was perfect for exploring and we had a great stay. The little gifts at the end were also an unexpected surprise and went down very well with our girls. They were delighted so thank you. The only negative thing was that all the beds were a bit too firm for us. Maybe some mattress toppers would be nice. Other than that we couldn’t fault it. The neighbours were also lovely bringing us fresh figs and grapes. They were very kind. We would definitely visit again and recommend"

"The hotel catered for what you want. We came here thinking it was 5 star all inclusive but in fact it was more like a 4 star. You need to upgrade to get the branded alcohol, or water in bottles. It’s definitely geared towards alcohol. The food is good. There isn’t much to eat throughout the day in terms of snacks. Ice cream in tubs and homemade sandwiches. The pool is lovely and the views are fab. The vibe is nice. Hospitality is lovely and people enjoy themselves. The pool is the best part for me. Mr Marx at customer relations is fantastic. He is friendly, helpful and very personal. He takes an interest in you and remembers things you’ve spoken about and is really informative. All hotels should have someone like him. And he speaks 7 languages!!"

"Très belle résidence au calme. Accès un peu surprenant au début (petite route), mais je penses que c'est un peu partout en crête. Belle piscine et terrain, il faisait très chaud pendant notre séjour, le seul petit bémol serait le manque d'aménagement ombragé."

From providing food, drink and treats for us to making sure everything was as it should be and then a gift when we left - thank you! "Séjour agréable dans un petit complexe de 3 villas. Jolie vue dans un environnement encore en construction. Restaurant et petite épicerie à proximité (1.5km), en revanche il manque quelques ustensiles pour faire la cuisine ( poêle, plats, cuillère en bois...) et pour la nettoyer (le lave vaisselle ne lave rien). La piscine est nettoyée tous les jours et le linge changé une fois par semaine. Pour garer la voiture, pas de parking à proprement dit mais un endroit à l'entrée de la villa."

"A beautiful house in the mountains. If you want peace and quiet this is perfect. The views are incredible. Despoina is a wonderful host who generously made us homemade cakes! This part of Crete is not busy but the local tavernas offer wonderful food (cheaper than in the main areas). The mornings are cooler in the mountains so this is a good area for walking."

"Eine fantastische Unterkunft in den Bergen von Kreta. Bestens und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, toller Pool und prompte und immer freundliche und hilfreiche Antworten auf alle Fragen die wir so hatten. Sowohl direkt von den Besitzern als auch von der Versorgung vor Ort. Sehr gemütliche Tavernas in der Nähe die wir gern mehrfach besucht haben. Alles in allem, 10/10 Sterne und wir würden sofort wiederkommen."
