The Nook of Silver Terrace, near USD & Old Town.

Walk the beaches, walk the harbor! Stroll through Old Town or explore the Presidio. Numerous restaurants to take out and deliver! Our newest and most economic unit! Non smoking 1 bedroom unit. Sleeps 4, WiFi, Roku, bedroom AC unit. Outdoor area with BBQ. Surfing, biking, paddle boarding, sailing, golf all within a quick 5 minute drive. A great get away. Romantic & economical. Close to 3 local beaches.

The unit is newly built. It's super cute and clean. Kitchen is fully loaded, linens included. Owner run building so pride of ownership is evident. Granite counters, tile floors in bathroom and luxury vinyl plank throughout the rest of the unit. Stocked kitchen has cooktop and oven and dishwasher. SMART TV Netflix ready, queen bed with sofa in living room. Washer and dryer in unit for longer stays. The unit sleeps 2 adults easily or 2 adults and 2 children with use of the couch and a blow-up mattress.

Contact-less check-in is available and the pin number will be provided to the guest prior to arrival. We are available by phone and text to answer questions and give suggestions for the area as needed during the day until 9:00 pm. Please let us know your approximate arrival time after 4 pm. We can let you know when the apt. Is ready for early check-in by request.

The little known name of this small neighborhood located just south of the University of San Diego is called Silver Terrace. It is a very centrally located and just minutes away from numerous highly popular destinations such as: Sea World, Mission Bay Park, Mission Beach, Old Town, Downtown, Fashion Valley Mall and La Jolla. Within a 10 minute walk you'll be within range of a trolley stop, multiple coffee shops, brewery tasting room, numerous restaurants, and a YMCA.

To get around San Diego, the most convenient method of transportation will usually be a car. However, if you choose to forgo that option, one can use the trolley (10 minute walk from the unit), or call an Uber / Lyft to get around the city.

Perfect and convenient

This was the perfect apartment for my stay. It was spacious and well decorated. Ammenities were great and the washer/dryer a plus. Easy to get in and out and close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place

We stayed for a couple of nights, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. From the beginning, Jimmy was very responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. Parking was convenient, and the place itself was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. It was also easy to keep an eye on my toddler while preparing meals, which was a big plus. This place is amazing we’ll definitely be booking again!

Lovely little spot

Comfortable, clean, and cozy little spot with all of the necessary amenities. Perfect location for access to the USD conference I was in town for. It took a day of being there to figure it out, but for thos who commented on no table, the.coffee table in front of the couch pulls up to make a perfect place to eat and work from the couch.

Nice comfortable place to stay in San Diego

We felt this was a great place for our short stay.All comforts were provided. Felt a bit closed in within the neighborhood but it was close to walking distance to trolley and a few small restaurants. Only lacking a close grocery store. Over all it works well for a place to stay in San Diego.

Great location!

My husband and I rented The Nook of Silver Terrace for a long weekend spent watching baseball at USD, driving to North County and various other places. The location is perfect! The unit has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Although there is no allocated parking, we were able to park on the street close to the unit without any problems. We will definitely stay here again!

Place had everything we needed.Clean, enough space. The only reason I could not stay there again would be the noise level above us. I did not realize that there would be someone(s) above us. Quite abit of foot traffic and movement of furniture during the evening and night..

We do a lot of walking when we travel. This location was a little difficult to navigate to Old Town due to the highways, but after the first day it got easier. It a quiet neighborhood, which we appreciated. Inside was clean. The sleeping accommodations were nice. I did like the locking mechanism for the door.

Location was great, didn't realize it till we got there. 5 to 10 min from the old town, SeaWorld, UCSD snd some good ole shopping. Unit was very clean and cozy. Had all the amenities that id required for my liking. Id definitely stay here again

Great location in San Diego

This was a simple one bedroom multifamily house. Quiet Street. Our host James was very responsive with our questions. Drivable to All attractions in San Diego. Would definitely stay again when I am in the area.

Quick getaway

The location was centrally located to all that we wanted to see or go to. Property had all that I needed for a quick weekend trip with my daughter & we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio area. I am already planning our next trip & am already looking into staying at the larger unit in front lol. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

Convenient rental.

Property was clean and convenient. We were only here for a brief stay to move my daughter into college. Appreciated the use of the property. I did not see the email that came in after we arrived asking us to strip bed prior to leaving, so I hope I didn't get dinged on my review as a guest because of that. The unit is part of a tri-plex that sits behind a house that is not part of the tri-plex. It would have been nice to have had an outdoor visual of the place while I was making my selection. The unit itself was fine- I was just surprised by the layout of the property.

Cozy stay

Overall, I had a pleasant stay, although I was in town for a work conference and dance event, so I didn't get to spend much time inside the unit. I had a bit of a snafu checking in, which was stressful. Luckily, it was resolved in about 40 minutes, after which everything was smooth sailing. One suggestion to the owner is to change the light sensor in the bathroom. It's a shock to get up mid-night to use the restroom, only to have the bathroom light automatically go off at full brightness. It would be nice if it were a dimmer light instead. It was a great location for my purposes. I never had a parking issue, and the neighborhood was quiet. I'd stay here again if I ever find myself back in San Diego.

Quiet Space

This was a lovely little space nestled in the burbs of SD. Everything you need is here, from kitchen to linens to bath items. One of the best parts was the communication from the owner. He was so responsive, patient, kind and helpful. I am from SD and still travel back here for work. I am saving this place as my new spot!

Stay in Linda Vista area

The Nook at Silver Terrace is a nice place, not fancy, but has all the essentials. It would be helpful to have a small table in the kitchen area. Location was good, close to family and attractions in San Diego.

Home Away From Home

I really enjoyed staying at this Vrbo property! The unit was really clean and centrally located to the trolley for trips into the city, while walking distance to shopping and several eating establishments. I definitely will be staying here in the future!
