Parking is difficult. There is a parking structure up the road about 2 blocks so that was nice once we found it. Could have done more research.The hotel is nice. Staff is great. We opened our window for AC. We enjoyed this hotel for what we needed.

Hotel Bijou is in a great location, making it convenient to explore San Francisco and enjoy everything the city has to offer. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. However, the elevator was not working during my visit, which was quite inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. I hope this gets addressed soon, as it definitely affects the guest experience. Aside from that, the location was a big plus!

Clean, comfortable, pretty noisy at night. In the “bad” part of town. I didn’t feel unsafe during the day. Good idea to avoid walking around town at night. Great restaurant with exceptional food & ambiance. Wonderful staff.

I thought this was a good hotel for the price and location. I would go back again. It’s one block from Powell station so it’s a quick trip on the bart basically right to your hotel. Only thing that bugged me was the show was complicated. Annoyingly so. Most places I can get an early check in for free. They wanted to charge for that but didn’t have a room anyways. Same with late. A charge. That bothered me and was a first (I travel a lot) but between the pluses and the minuses I would def stay there again

Overall it was a nice place in the downtown location. We weren't offered the complementary wine on check-in but thats not a huge deal. The room was very small but since we were only staying for 1 night it wasn't a big deal. The bedroom view was poor and I was awoken early Sunday to someone either smoking cigarettes below us or nearby and had to close my windows so I wouldn't be accused. Otherwise the staff were great and super friendly and it was easy to walk where we needed to.

First time staying here. It was a nice clean hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be the noise of all the homeless people yelling outside till about 6:00 in the morning. We like to sleep with the window open so once we close the window it was okay. For the price it was a good hotel to stay at.

Nice staff and lobby and restaurant, overall decent room and finish. Was a little hot as I didn't realize there was no AC but they did have a stand-up fan in the room which helped. It was a bit loud at night even on the 6th floor from the noise on the street, but we managed to sleep ok (they did provide earplugs but I prefer to sleep without). Good location and friendly staff, overall good stay.

This is a beautiful hotel in a central location. We loved the decor and furniture pieces in our room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The adjoining restaurant is unique and a must-try while visiting.

A nice, clean, inexpensive, small hotel near Union Square. This is an ideal hotel for someone who wants a centrally located spot without the fancy perks of higher end, boutique hotels. It is clean. It has a nice staff. And the price is right. But it is located on the edge of the Tenderloin which remains derelict. I liked it and will stay there again.

This unassuming hotel on the edge of the Tenderloin was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and a very good value for a no frills budget hotel. Easy check in, a friendly staff, and a good location close to public transit means that I will stay there again.
