My room was the 303, perfect! It was in the back of the hotel. I couldn't hear any noise coming from the street or the traffic, I had amazing 5 nights of sleep. The room was super clean, comfortable, with a good space and the bed was something else! I really recommend this hotel if you wanna have a good time in San Francisco. It is close by everything, the cable car just cross right in the corner.

Very comfortable bed. Good location. The room was pretty small but so was the price I paid and it was completely fine for 1-2 travelers. The lobby is nice lots of places to set up a computer. Staff was very nice.

The room is definitely on the smaller side, but it was comfortable and functional, so I really can’t complain. The shower was also compact but surprisingly refreshing. My only real frustration was the lack of easy access to fresh water and ice. There’s no self-serve option, so you have to request ice from staff—and depending on who’s on duty, the response can range from helpful to hesitant. As someone who goes through a lot of ice, that was a bit inconvenient. A mini fridge in the room would have also been a nice touch, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Love the convenience to parking (it’s close enough), restaurants, and shopping!

This is an awesome historic boutique hotel in the heart of San Francisco, what a find! Reminds me of boutique hotels in NYC in the village. Rooms are small but very well appointed and thoughtfully designed, and huge bonus is windows open and they have screens on them, so you can let that fresh Pacific Ocean breeze in, amazing! Extremely comfy cozy place with wonderful history, walking distance to great restaurants in all directions. I’ll be staying here again.

Beautiful lobby and lounge with plenty of workspaces. Bathroom had a nice deep tub. Only complaint is it’s pretty noisy outside even with windows shut. People yelling, busses, honking, loud music, etc. sometimes all the way until 2am.

For a two day trip this was pretty good! pros: ease of check-in, location, beautiful lobby, elevator, house-keeping. the only thing that threw me for a loop was that there appeared to be some hair stuck to the window of the bathroom door, the AC unit was not very functional, and the room felt damp. The property was worth the price, but definitely some things to keep in mind when booking.
