Paula was friendly and very accommodating. She made suggestions on what to see. The food at the restaurant was very good. Our room was a bit rustic although clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed here two nights.

The resort itself is located about 30min away from the hustle and bustle of San Ignacio and its situated right along the Macal River which made for perfect water sounds in the mornings and at night. Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful and their cooking was AMAZING!! The view into the jungle is indescribable and the room was the perfect size.

The Resort had everything we needed so we didn’t really get to visit much of San Ignacio, though we did a great chocolate making class there.
Great affordable base for the solo traveler!!
Rio on Pools & Big Rock Falls are beautiful.
Close to Xunantunich, which is the second largest man made structure in Belize. 360 views of Belize & Guatemala.
There are a couple of one-way bridges in and out of San Ignacio. Look for the small turn off signs to get to San Ignacio (its across the river from Santa Elena, which is one the main highway).
