Perfect place for an unforgettable family holiday

We have had the most amazing family holiday in this beautiful accommodation, it was absolutely perfect, all the rooms are full of character and very traditional. Everywhere was immaculately clean, the grounds are perfectly maintained and the views are spectacular. The hosts were second to none, so friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more.

Paradise!

The property is fantastic and the view enchanting! Emanuele and his family are the perfect hosts -- attentive, responsive, but extremely discreet. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, and absolutely spotless, and the outside matches the inside with countless corners to relax and enjoy the panorama, including the lovely swimming pool overlooking the majestic peaks and valleys of the Garfagnana.

Relaxing Accommodation within great nature

The owner is very nice and supportive. Everything worked fine. We had a relaxing week at the resort. The view of hills and mountains is great. The spacious complex offers a lot of individual space. The individual apartments are individually, attractively designed and well equipped. It was very quiet (no street or neighbors). Bakery and butcher 1km away - restaurants 4km away.

Fabulous place in the mountains

We enjoyed our week at the house. The views across the valley were amazing and ever changing. The house was clean, comfortable and much more spacious than expected-plenty of indoor and outdoor facilities for eating and socialising as a group or various spaces to read or just appreciate the view. It is well stocked for self-catering. The individual apartments allowed for some privacy and space and the pool was fabulous and much appreciated on hot, sunny days The owner and his family were very welcoming and on hand if anything was needed. He visits the estate daily to tend to the various animals and birds they keep there (you are welcome to visit them during your stay). The house is set up the valley from the village, which means there is plenty of privacy but a car is needed to get around the area. Being up in the hills meant it was cooler at night-much appreciated for a good nights sleep! There is plenty of walking and sightseeing in the area and it is only a 6 minute drive to the train station which takes you to Lucca and the local towns in between, if you’d prefer to leave your car. Do try and get to the Il Merendero Pizzeria in the village if you can. An extra treat were the daily displays from the magical fireflies and the star gazing at night. A beautiful setting and house-a memorable holiday for us all.

Beau gîte au calme et au frais

Si vous cherchez une location de vacances joliment décoré et au calme (et au frais) dans un environnement magnifique c'est l'endroit parfait. Par contre sachez que vous seriez loin des sites phares de la Toscane. Nous étions un groupe de 14 personnes et nous nous sommes repartis dans les 6 chambres dans lesquelles on était quand même un peu à l'étroit pour certains. Il y a une grande salle à manger en commun où se trouve la machine à laver et le lave vaisselle + un grand évier. Malheureusement il n'y a pas de possibilité pour cuisiner dans cette salle. Du coup, il a fallu cuisiner pour 14 dans les petites niches de cuisine des différents logements. La logistique des repas était donc un peu difficile. Mais une fois le repas servi sur la belle table de la terrasse avec cette vue magnifique sur les Alpes apuanes cet inconvénient était vite oublié! Dans la belle petite maison il n'y a qu'une salle de bain pour 5 voir 6 personnes. La maison est très belle et le terrain immense. Grand merci à Emanuele et son épouse (propriétaires) qui ont été plus que disponible à nos demandes divers et variées!

Traumhaft

Wir haben mit meinen Geschwistern und deren Familien eine Woche lang den 80. Geburtstag unserer Eltern im Farmhaus Eleonora gefeiert und es war einfach traumhaft. Von den Kleinkindern und Teenies bis zu den Großeltern haben alle den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war einfach alles perfekt: die Landschaft, die Lage, die Aussicht, die Wohnungen und Außenanlagen, der Pool, die Tiere, und nicht zu vergessen Emanuele und seine Familie, die sich ungemein hilfsbereit um alles gekümmert haben - bessere Gastgeber kann man sich nicht wünschen! Und alles war noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern! Es fiel uns wirklich schwer wieder abzureisen. Ganz vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Woche!!!

Geweldige villa met een fantastisch uitzicht over de bergen

Groot huis met diverse appartementen Wij huurden het hele huis voor onszelf. Prachtig zwembad, prachtig uitzicht. Het enige minpuntje voor ons waren de lange rijtijden naar bijv de steden in de omgeving. Door de afgelegen ligging in de bergen zat je elke keer lang in de auto.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr sehr schön und perfekt für Menschen, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen oder ungestört sein möchten. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön und man hat auch sehr viel Platz auf dem Grundstück. Der Vermieter ist wirklich sehr nett und unkompliziert, man konnte ihn jederzeit erreichen und er hat uns immer unterstützt, wenn wir ihn gebraucht haben (z.B. bei der Suche nach einem geeigneten Restaurant). Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
