"The hotel is a located inside a converted house. Everything looks very traditional, complete with low ceilings, sliding doors, mat covered floors and futons. The dorm slept four, which I though was tight, but it seems to work well enough that I slept quite well both nights. My futon had two layers and although I like a firm mattress, I did think it was quite sore on my back the 1st night. Common areas include the kitchen, cafe and lounge. "Excellent central hotel in Nagano, very close to the station (around 5 min walk). We checked in late after the Shinkansen from Tokyo and the process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was good and twinned with Wendy’s so there was the option of a burger as well. Clean and tidy hotel. "

"Great location, just a short walk from Nagano Station and easy to find. It's on the same road that leads to Zenkoji Temple. For a two-night stay this met my expectations. Facilities were clean and tidy. I also had the chance to dine in at their Mash Cafe - it was a nice, cozy ambiance and the food and drinks were delicious. Staff both at check-in counter and cafe were very friendly. "
