Under Putz by Interhome
Vacation in Architectural Monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the Vacation in Architectural Monument foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.
Public transport: SBB train to Landquart, then take the Rhaetian Railway to Schiers, from Schiers take the post bus in the direction of Pany to Putz Alte Post, then 250 metres back along the road in the direction of Schiers to the junction of the Underputzweg, then turn left 150 metres down this road to Under Putz and the house.
Parking: Three private outdoor parking spaces at the house.
Number of persons 4-6: A cot and high chair are available on request (up to 2 years). The house can accommodate up to six guests. The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers.

Outdoor space: Two covered verandas on the ground floor and first floor, space to sit in front of the house next to the old barn, opposite the well. Mown meadow with tall trees below the house.

The house ‘Under Putz’ is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing substance. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. Although the building is equipped to modern technical standards, certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger.
