"I can´t wait to stay at that hotel again! My wife and I spent just one night there. However, it was one of the most remarkable moments of our visit to California. The staff person at the reception, Kiona, was extremely gentle and helpful. Then, we arrived just on time to enjoy a happy hour with free wine! We took advantage of the balcony table out of our room (at the Lincoln module of the hotel) and enjoyed a nice time in preparation for dinner at the hotel´s restaurant. Dinner was exquisite. Great customer service. Afterwards, we walked around the neighborhood which has some historic buildings worthy to visit or contemplates. We´ll definitely go back to Upham hotel."

"Wonderful stay. Spacious rooms. Great location, walkable to the beach and State St for those that enjoy walking. Shower water temperature had issues but was fixed right away. Pool was nice. The lobby always had ice water and lemonade. Breakfast was lovely and so was the afternoon cheese and wine. Definitely recommend and would return."

"The Mar Monte Hotel was a lovely place to stay for a girls getaway... it was right across the street from the beach; the restaurants on site were fantastic, we loved the free bikes and beach chairs, and the pool was great. We had a noisy air conditioner the first night and got moved to a new room with a balcony which was lovely. Great stay!"
