I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing and not at all what was advertised.
First, the front desk staff—especially one receptionist (Connal) —had a noticeable attitude and was not helpful at all. Customer service felt dismissive rather than welcoming, which set the tone for the entire stay.
The parking situation is a major issue. The garage is extremely small and poorly managed. The hotel does not properly track which car belongs to which guest, which led to a serious problem during our stay—our car was scratched overnight. When we reported it, the hotel was unhelpful and showed little urgency or responsibility. Even more frustrating, they did not provide surveillance footage or relevant guest information in a timely manner.
The room itself was another disappointment. Rooms directly above the reception and near the kitchen, making it incredibly noisy early in the morning. You can hear everything—staff conversations, kitchen activity, people moving, and constant noise from a back door near the guest rooms. If you’re hoping to relax or sleep in while on vacation, this is not the place.
The location also felt unsafe. Right outside the hotel is a gas station with a significant homeless presence, and walking toward downtown or the Funk Zone was uncomfortable. It’s not the kind of environment where you feel at ease exploring on foot.
Overall, the service and experience do not match the price point.
