Red House ideal for families: beach access directly from the garden!

Two independent houses immersed in a huge garden of 2700 square meters.

An ideal place for families with children because access to the beach takes place directly from the garden, an almost unique peculiarity.

Those who book for 15 days or rent both houses are entitled to an additional discount.

The two houses can be rented individually or simultaneously.

The prices shown refer to the rental of the Casa Rossa only.

Each house has its own privacy, in common they only have the descent to the sea and the driveway.

It is the ideal place for families with children.

The Red House consists of a kitchen, a hallway, a bedroom with sofa bed and bathroom, a bedroom with double bed and single bed. Externally there are two verandas available, one with a stone table.
The strong point of the Red house is certainly the garden among pines, palms, bamboo and the new lawn.
For families with small children there are camping cots with mattress and high chairs for baby food.
Each house is equipped with A ++ air conditioning, washing machine, hairdryer, dishes, TV, wifi. Supply of sheets and towels are optional
It is possible to rent only one of the two houses.

A holiday in a magical and silent context. It is the ideal place for those who love the sea, nature, quiet and visit the cities of Sicilian Baroque.

Einfach wunderbar! Die Ausstattung ist einfach, was man aber nach kurzer Zeit als angenehm empfindet. Einzig ein Geschirrspüler fehlt, was man ja aber vorher weiß. Das Haus war sauber und nicht muffig. Die Lage und das Grundstück sind perfekt - direkt am Meer, ein wunderschöner großer Garten zum Entdecken, in wenigen Minuten läuft man am Strand nach Punta Secca, einer wikrlich süßen Stadt, die an Urlaubsflair nicht zu übertreffen ist. Allesandro hat sich sofort gekümmert, wenn wir Fragen hatten oder etwas nicht funktionierte - lieben Dank dafür :-) Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Wochen Urlaub - so richtig Urlaub

Das Grundstück ist wunderschön gelegen und der Garten liebevoll gestaltet. Besonders hat uns die Möglichkeit gefallen, direkt am Meer – etwas erhöht auf unserer eigenen privaten Terrasse – zu frühstücken. Das Haus selbst ist klein, aber für vier Personen durchaus ausreichend. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, entgegenkommend und unkompliziert. Insgesamt können wir das Haus nur empfehlen.

Perfect location for relaxing and exploring. Rustic villa with the best outdoor space. Large beautiful garden leading to terrace which overlooks beach and sea. Range of seats and tables for relaxing or dining as you may need. Access to beach direct from garden Communication was first class throughout stay as needed. Added bonus was Peaches the kitten ! Recent addition to the property so we understood. Welcomed us home from our explorations. Casa Rossa is ideal as a base to explore the area. Punta Secca within walking distance

We had a wonderful stay in the Red House. The highlight is the location, right by a beautiful beach and a short walk along the beach to Punta Secca. We loved early morning swims when the beach was quiet. The garden is great; we spent most of our time outside. Local food is delicious and perfect for dinners in the garden. The house is rustic but had everything we needed. Communication was Alessandro was easy. Thank you for a great stay!

Nothing short of amazing

We are just home from one of the most relaxing holidays in a stunning location! The house is set in an large, established garden with quirky ceramics and stone sculptures tastefully located around. It is a stone’s throw from the beach with private access through a walkway and steps down to the sand. The beach is lovely and very safe with shelving waters where you could walk in safely - especially good for families with young children. We visited from Scotland and found not many foreign tourists. Most of the people we met were from the area or the mainland, which was refreshing and gave us the chance to immerse ourselves in Sicilian culture, picking up some of the language on the way. Everyone was very friendly, patient and helpful.Punta Secca is a 10 minute walk away either on the beach or the road where you will find supermarkets (Despar and Conad) and many wonderful bars and restaurants. The sunset is incredible there! The accommodation at Casa Rossa is a rustic traditional house which we truly loved and had all the facilities needed for our stay. Sitting at the table outside in the evenings, eating fresh, local produce was our favourite thing to do in addition to relaxing and playing on the beach. From beginning to end, Alessandro was a welcoming, friendly and attentive host. We cannot thank both Alessandro and Fabrizio (the caretaker) enough for making our stay so memorable. We hope to be back soon

Beautiful vista - unclean, more than basic

We spent two weeks traveling around South Sicily and loved waking up to the beach and sleeping to the sound of waves. However, our stay at this property was disappointing. We were the first guests of the season, and the house was not clean—dirty dishes, dusty floors, and sand under rugs. The bathroom and kitchen were extremely basic (see photos). We cleaned ourselves just to feel comfortable.The property is right on the beach, but access is unsafe: a broken wall and a 1.5m drop make it dangerous for kids or anyone with mobility issues.Before arrival, the host tried to switch us to a more expensive house (100 more) via WhatsApp, which goes against VRBO policy. We declined. Upon arrival, we were met by someone who only spoke Italian, with no clear instructions or working Wi-Fi. I couldn’t work remotely for a week, and even after it was fixed, the signal only worked slowly in the garden.On departure, we were told to remove all rubbish—inc. from septic toilet. We complied, and the bin man collected everything. Still, the host falsely claimed we left trash and charged 100. The photo he shared wasn’t our rubbish. It felt like a setup to extract more money. VRBO has offered no support despite evidence. This host is dishonest and should not be trusted.

Nette Unterkunft mit Garten und direktem Strandzugang

Unterkunft liegt am Sandstrand und hat direkten Zugang zum Meer. Der Vermieter Alessandro ist sehr nett, schnelle Antwort auf Fragen und bemüht, alle unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Bei der Ankunft gab es einen Willkommens-Snack. Der kleine Ort mit Restaurants liegt 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Super Aufenthalt als Familie!

Wonderful garden with direct access to the beach

We stayed for 11 nights with three children (6y, 3y, 6m) at Cassa Rossa. The house had everything we needed for our vacation. The highlight is the large beautiful garden with all its corners to relax and the direct access to the sandy beach. The children loved exploring the flora and fauna. Alessandro and Fabrizio were quick and easy to reach for any questions. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful house next to the beach

We had a wonderful time at Alessandros house (red house) in Caucana. The garden is very beautiful and well taken care of - we especially enjoyed the outside shower beaneath the banana tree ! There are a lot of nice spots to sit and relax, also a barbeque to grill some fresh fish. The communication with Alessandro was really easy going and reliable. We had a really nice time!

Esperienza unica di accesso privato al mare

Consiglio la casa rossa a chi vuole vivere l'esperienza di vacanza con accesso diretto sul mare molto comodo soprattutto per chi ha bambini piccoli. Tanto spazio all'esterno tra giardino e veranda e cancello diretto sulla spiaggia. Perfetto anche per passeggiate al mare di notte. Interno della casa semplice, consiglio di condividere lo spazio all'interno della stessa famiglia dato che per raggiungere la camera principale bisogna passare per la seconda cameretta.

Posto stupendo

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casa ed il giardino sono proprio come nelle foto, il giardino è grandissimo, con molti alberi, tenuto benissimo, permette di stare all'ombra e al fresco anche nelle ore più calde. I nostri bimbi ci si sono divertiti tantissimo..Per arrivare al mare basta aprire un cancello e scendere pochi scalini, il mare è pulito, con l'acqua bassa per lunghi tratti. Noi siamo stati nella casa blu, grande e comoda, eravamo 2 adulti e tre bimbi, per i bimbi il posto è perfetto. C'è tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno: aria condizionata, ventilatori (ma non abbiamo mai avuto bisogno di usarli perché si stava benissimo), ombrelloni, sdraio, lettini, barbecue. I proprietari sono stati veramente accoglienti e gentilissimi, e pronti a venirci incontro se avevamo bisogno di qualcosa. È stata una bellissima esperienza che consiglio a tutti.

Case incantevoli immerse in un giardino da sogno

La prima cosa che colpisce è il giardino, popolato di piante esotiche, tantissime, colorate, e ovunque il verde dell'aloe, tra ricordi del passato, una colonna, un arco, antiche pietre. Le case, molto accoglienti, sono arredate in modo semplice ma perfetto, tutto è molto nuovo. Si vede il mare, e a due passi c'è una piccola, scenografica terrazza con una porticina: eccolo, il mare, pochi gradini e ci sei dentro. La bella spiaggia arriva a Punta Secca, la passeggiata è impagabile, il panorama bellissimo. Per una o più settimane di totale relax. Volendo si può lasciare la macchina parcheggiata e andare sempre in paese a piedi. A parte la casa di Montalbano, Punta Secca offre un'atmosfera molto particolare, di tranquillità, di voglia di sedersi sul muretto del lungomare e chiacchierare. Dalle case di Mare di notte si possono fare tante escursioni, anche alla splendida Riserva Randello, con innumerevoli dune e un mare limpido. Alessandro, all'arrivo, ci ha fatto trovare pane fresco, un cestino di ottimi Pachino e una freschissima ricotta. Molto discreto, si è però sempre mostrato disponibile più che altro per informazioni, dato che lì a Mare di notte funziona tutto alla perfezione. Non dimenticheremo i giorni trascorsi lì. Un grazie ad Alessandro e alla sua famiglia.

Giardino fantastico a due passi dal mare

Molto soddisfatti del posto, un bellissimo giardino e il mare a due passi dalla casa. Veramente l'ideale per una coppia con bambini. Casa Rossa molto semplice ma comoda. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi ama il mare e la tranquillità e vuole usare la casa solo come appoggio per godersi spiagge, granite e relax nelle sdraio in giardino!!

Entspannter Aufenthalt in schönem Garten direkt am Meer

Die Casa rossa liegt etwas zurückgesetzt in einem wunderschönen Garten direkt am Meer. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Aufenthalt war überaus entspannend, der Besitzer sehr zuvorkommend. Der Ort Punta Secca liegt fußläufig zur Unterkunft und ist ein hübscher Ort mit netten Restaurants. Lohnende Ausflüge nach Ragusa, Modica und Scicli, sind in weniger als einer Stunde zu erreichen. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen Urlaub zum Baden, Entspannen und für Besichtigungen

Un endroit merveilleux! jardin très beau et maison simple et pratique. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir! amélioration à apporter: la connexion internet et les bicyclettes.

Fantastic location, beautiful garden.

Lovely tropical garden shared with the other bungalow on the site, with own outdoor spaces to eat and relax. Easy access to the beach, easy walk around the point to Punta Secca village with the iconic Faro, restaurants and shops, and of course the house used to film Montalbano's home in fictional Marinella. The bungalow was pleasant, a bit basic but had all we needed for a memorable stay. Secure garden gate and on-site parking a bit plus. 2 hours by car to Siracusa or Valle di Templi.
