Florida trip

We usally stay in Panama City Beach. Our booking got canceled due to the owner selling the house. We had to find something fairly quickly that would accommodate 3 trucks and 2 large boats with trailers. It was a tight fit. But we made it work. We had 11 of us there was plenty of room with the loft room for some of the kids to sleep. It was definitely different from Panama. The neighborhood was still busy, but also quiet. We were within walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. We drove to Destin and Panama a few of the days to take the boats out.We enjoyed the pool after a day in the boats! We had no issues with anything the week were there and enjoyed our stay!

Great getaway!

We loved everything about the house. The pool was perfect for our family and friends. We loved the amount of leftover pool toys and chairs that were there for us to use; we added to the collection. One advice I would give is if you are cooking for a large family bring a large gumbo pot with you but other than that we LOVED everything. We can't wait to return!

We had a great stay. You are very close to the beach and having a pool in the backyard was a definite bonus. Would stay here again.

Beach vacay

Overall the place was great. The yard and outside could use some serious clean up. The kitchen was a bit lacking in cooking utensils. A couple appliances needed maintenance.

Nice house

The check in was very easy and the house was nice. The location to the beach was a little further than I would have liked but not far enough to need a golf cart. The included beach chairs and beach toys including boogie boards (although a bit beat up) we’re very nice. I recommend ordering umbrellas and chairs to be set up because we got to the beach at 6:30-7:00 to set our stuff up. The pool is the largest we have had at a beach house in Santa Rosa and all 7 kiddos took full advantage of it. The gas grill worked great although it was extremely dirty, but being a host myself for a vacation rental, I know how guests can sometimes leave things. The house itself could use some updating and the furniture could use a good cleaning but overall, it was clean and very comfortable for our 11 guests. I do wish this house had a more private beach access and not so close to a public access but that’s just my preference. We loved the ping pong table and all the chairs around the pool. I would recommend this house for your beach stay if you are able to walk and carry beach stuff and be able to go up a lot of stairs. This was not an issue for us. Brad was my contact person and he was very quick to respond to any question I had.

Weeks Family Vacation 2021

The location of this property was incredible—an easy five minute walk to the beach. So many good things to say about this house—the two master suites, the ample parking—the pool—the relaxing porch with great outdoor table. Our grandkids loved the hammock and ping pong table too. The bunk room and guest room (queen) need some attention to step up the comfort level of the king suites, but all in all we had a great week.

Good location, OK for kids

Good location for beach access and rentals, be sure to reserve golf cart in advance. House has wagon and chairs for beach, needed umbrella though. Goatfeathers seafood market is a short walk, fresh fish and shrimp everyday was awesome. House itself had some wear and tear, felt like bare minimum cleaning had been done. Air vents in every room were filthy. No one came by to clean pool. Had a few issues with appliances, blender was broken but a new one was delivered within hours, dishwasher not secured to cabinets, so it kept tipping out. Private yard and pool were perfect, wrap-around porch with outdoor dining area and swing added a lot of extra usable space for our 11 guests.

Great place and location

The location was great! Short bike rides to beach and local eats. (You really could walk it is so close:)) The house was able to accommodate us all and big fun was had.! The biggest issue for us were the showers. The master shower door wouldn’t latch, the outdoor shower had low water pressure and also wouldn’t latch well from the inside. A second person was needed to lock you in and unlock you from the outside. A couple of light bulbs were out and the outside floodlights were out. All easy fixes to make this a 5 star stay!

Enjoyed our stay

Our multi-generational group enjoyed our stay. Easy walking distance to the beautiful beach, restaurants in walking distance as well. The pool was a nice size for our group and the two out door decks were very nice.

Excellent stay!

Great house for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids and dog. We loved the huge fenced in area, 2 stair cases, massive porch, large pantry, fully equipped pantry and most of all 2 master bedrooms! The carpet upstairs could certainly stand to be replaced but it was nice to not have to worry about kids or the dog messing it up. Not a bad walk or easy drive to the beach, which helped with carrying kids and kid stuff. Easy and quick communication with the property manager! They had even had someone come clean the pool a few times during our stay - which was really nice!

We loved the house and surrounding area.

The house was clean upon our arrival. Everything worked as expected. Kitchen had plenty of cookware, seating, and supplies. Nice quiet neighborhood and super close walk to the beach. Definitely worth the money.

Loved Our Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay here and will be back! Very well maintained. Beautiful pool. Plenty of room for families. 2 blocks from the beach. Restaurants right around the corner. Peaceful and not alot of traffic. Loved it!

Exactly as advertised

This is a perfect property for a stay in Santa Rosa Beach. A couple of blocks from the ocean and a couple of blocks to ice cream and restaurants. The house is perfect for a large group and the wonderful porch and pool were terrific for the children.

Great house, nice heated pool just a few blocks from the beach.

We had two children and five adults and enjoyed every minute of this house. Comfortably decorated with a smart kitchen and family room layout. Spent most time outside enjoying the pool and hammocks. 10 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride to the Gulfview beach access and 2 minute walk to Buddy’s Ice Cream. Great stay in beautiful Santa Rosa!

House and Location are Great

The house and location was Awesome. The wife and I took the family and spent a week with our (2) daughters, son-in-laws and (5) granddaughters, had a Great time and Loved it. The layout was great, four bedrooms, (3) full bathrooms and a half bath and laundry room off of the kitchen area. The kitchen and dining area were a little tight but with six adults and (5) kids it was manageable. The pool was awesome but the heater went out or quit and dropped 13 degrees to where it was too cold to get in the last two days we were there and was just coming back up to temp when we were loading up to leave which was very disappointing for the grandkids. We would definitely go back and stay again though. The only reason I gave (4) stars instead of (5) was the fact we counted on the bikes and beach chairs that were advertised and they were not as pictured. The picture shows (6) new bikes and there were only (4) and the one and only kids bike was the only one suitable to ride. There were beach chairs as advertised but they needed to be thrown in the garbage, they are all rusted, broken and unable to use. The gas grill was dirty but after scrubbing a little and using foil we used it almost every day. I hate to complain because the place is worthy of a (5) Star Rating but those few things were definitely a disappointment causing me to go with only (4) stars. If the weather is bad and it does rain which it did the second day we were there, the way this house is raised we were still able to sit outside, grill and not be closed up in the house due to the weather which was Awesome. The contact is very quick to respond if you make contact with her, when I did contact her concerning the pool heat she had two pool guys there within the hour but they did not see anything wrong and by that time for whatever reason the heater quit the water had already cooled off so much it just took too long to heat back up to enjoy it. So overall if you want a great place to stay with plenty of room in a great location I would recommend booking and staying here. We would definitely go back, the disappointments we experienced were not bad enough to keep us away. Enjoy

A wonderful 2 family home for Spring Break!
