We were in town for bike riding and wine tasting. Great set up - well stocked kitchen. The layout was great. Hot tub and heated pool were wonderful after many miles on the bikes. The front is on a busy street which was not an issue for us, but may be for others.
This house was perfect for our girls’ getaway. Comfortable, soft sheets. Spacious. Appreciated the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Loved the hot tub & fire table! Wasn’t warm enough to use the pool, but the backyard was a nice oasis in the evenings.
This house is awesome! 4 full bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 is outside by pool), huge family room with couch and dining room to sit. We were staying here for a family event in town. While we didn’t use it, the pool was heated and backyard nicely arranged (it rained while we were there, otherwise we’d have enjoyed the outdoor lounge furniture and bbq!) The fact that it is dog friendly made it the perfect choice for me. I’d definitely recommend and will stay here again in the future!
The property was clean, appointed well, and worked out nicely for our family to stay at and to host a Thanksgiving dinner. Though there were a couple of small issues with supplies (7 place-settings for an 8-person property, only 5 chairs at the 6-person dining table), the property manager was VERY responsive and dropped off both missing items first thing the next morning, which we really appreciated. The house is on a busy street (Mission Blvd) but it wasn't too noisy or disruptive. We generally enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again. Thanks!
The property was great. The house was clean, well stocked with towels, paper products, and even coffee. We didn't use the pool, but the hot tub and outdoor seating area was nice.
As an FYI, the 3rd bathroom is outside in the poolhouse. That's fine but we had assumed it was inside. So 3 bedrooms are essentially sharing a bathroom. Also, the garage is not accessible so you do have to park in the driveway.
The property management company was great! The communication was clear, I didn't have to clean the house before we left (sometimes they want you to strip beds, take out trash, wash dishes, etc) and they called after we left to tell us how great of shape we left the house in!
We stayed here with my adult children and their spouses. Overall the property checked all of our boxes. The bedrooms were nice and the bathrooms were updated and clean. There is some wear in the kitchen,ie loose cabinet doors and missing freezer door handle but there were plenty of dishes and pots and pans available. The inside of the house was clean and comfortable. The out side needs a little updating and cleaning. The pool was nice, but the hot tub is outdated and in need of a good cleaning. It was also difficult to turn on, we had to reboot the breaker. The grill area was also in need of some TLC but the grill worked and there was plenty of propane. It was hot when we visited so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors fire pit. The property was easy to get too and the check in process was simple. There are plenty of restaurants to drive too but not much to walk to. This was my first experience booking a VRBO and overall the process and propert was a positive experience and I will be booking more trips!

Beautiful home, plenty of space for 5 adults. Close to Sonoma and Napa wineries. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip and had a great time! The house was actually bigger than we expected, which made it super easy and comfortable for our whole group to hang out together. It slept all of us without feeling cramped, and the location was perfect—really close to downtown Santa Rosa and an easy drive to wineries. I do think the name of the property noting it is a home near Calistoga may be a little misleading considering it is quite literally a home in Santa Rosa, which yes, is close to Calistoga, but I don't think it's right to put that in the title of the home.A couple of things to note: the backyard wasn’t quite as cute as the photos made it look, and the locks on the doors could definitely be better for some piece of mind. Some of the photos of the house didn’t totally match what we saw in person, but honestly, the extra space we weren't expecting made up for it.Overall, it was a great home base for a fun weekend, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a spot that fits a bigger group and keeps you close to the action!
This is our second year at this house and I would highly recommend it. The house is very spacious and open floor plan for our family. We love the heated pool, hot tub and fire pit outdoors as well. It's the perfect home to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my grandchildren! Very clean and has everything we need to have a fun time!
We had a group of 7 woman stay for a wine weekend and this house was perfect. Newley renovated and clean and a really nice layout for hanging out! The drive into Napa from the house was absolutely scenic and breathtaking(we took the backway along the hillside) and it was about a 30-40 minute drive.
The house location was super close to lots of grocery stores, gas stations, etc. We did a delivery service one night and it was super quick and easy.
Overall- a really nice place to stay in Wine Country!
This home was perfect for 5 girlfriends to gather (4 bedrooms and one pull out couch), enjoy reservations at a handful of wineries and eat both in and out. Proximity to the grocery, theater, etc and the SFO shuttle drop off faciliated our 5 night stay. The home was spacious, very clean and both kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and equipped. The host's nearby contact was responsive and helpful both prior to our stay and then subsequently after check out when we thought something had been left.
Nice size house, bonus room was nice. Pool was surprisingly warm, hot tub was nice to sit in after a long day of wine tasting. We enjoyed the fire pit. Could use a little maintenance. No freezer door handle, none of the doors closed easily, outdoor furniture broken. It is on a busy street, but did not find that to be a noise issue. Was a nice option for 6 adults.

This place was absolutely beautiful! From the pictures on the outside, it does not look like much. Though on the inside the house is so beautiful and spacious! There's a huge kitchen area, then a separate dining area, and then the living room area. The living room area is nice and far from the bedrooms to allow people to sleep while others are still up. We didn't go in the pool as it was a bit cold in February but the hot tub. The one thing I would say is that the third bathroom was actually outside by the pool, I just did not realize that when I initially booked it. I definitely recommend this to any group. It was such a a great property at a very reasonable price!
Our annual college girlfriend trip lodging experience was disappointing due to several issues.
Routine maintenance was an issue on this property because the smoke alarm was chirping upon arrival. We texted the owner, and we didn’t get a response. So we found a battery to replace it ourselves. Which meant standing on a bar stool because there was not a step ladder available. Another issue was indoor thermostat being set to 82 degrees upon arrival, which was uncomfortable. The outdoor garbage cans were full. We arrived the evening of garbage pick up day.
Key details were not disclosed in the property description, like the absence of a washer and dryer. The third bathroom had outside access only and was not air-conditioned, making it uncomfortable to use. It also lacked basic amenities like hooks for hanging towels or a toiletry bag. Additionally, there were not enough towels and washcloths provided, which was inconvenient since there was no laundry on-site.
The kitchen was poorly stocked for anyone who enjoys cooking. The handle on the freezer door was broken. The pool was not heated as stated in the description, which was a major letdown.
There are no mirrors in the bedrooms, which made getting dressed more difficult. The ironing board was a small portable college dorm room board which would not stay standing on the counter.
Overall, it did not live up to its description. Highly recommend upgrades and a better management team.
