The property has beautiful views and the staff is amazing. The hotel is old and the rooms need to be updated. There was an odor in our room. The pool has cracked tile and no pool service except for a very small bar. 20 minute walk to downtown Fira.

Wonderful staff who were friendly and welcoming. They do everything to make you happy. Clean and spacious rooms. Generous breakfast and good selection of lunch and dinner options on the menu. Breathtaking caldera view!

The views of the Caldera are just breathtaking. The junior suite we were staying in is very well planned with two balconies and a jacuzzi. A big thank you to the reception and Resturant staff. The room cleaning also deserves appreciation for their continued hard work we observed during our seven day stay. Overall a definite repeat trip.

Wow. What an amazing stay at this hotel -- the staff we're amazing. Myself and my cousin had the lovelist rest time at this hotel. I came from London whereas my cousin came from New York and this was her first time coming to Europe and she absolutely loved Greece. The reception staff at Volcano View Hotel truly made our stay exceptional. Kostas, Maria, and Cristina were incredibly nice, warm, and welcoming — the perfect faces of the hotel as you arrive from the airport. They spent plenty of time with us explaining tours and activities around the island and made us feel genuinely cared for from the very first moment. The hotel itself is, of course, amazing: a dream location with stunning views. But it’s the people who make it a perfect place. We will definitely remember Kostas, Maria, and Cristina whenever we think back on our holiday in Santorini. Thanks so much for making us feel so welcome. Keep smiling and keep being amazing. Kostas, I hope everything goes well with your exams.

Second time staying at Volcano View Hotel in Santorini. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they make the effort to learn your names, remember your coffee orders, ask you about how you’re enjoying your time, and make recommendations for how to enjoy the island as much as possible during your time there. The rooms are clean on arrival and throughout your stay. We stayed in a non-suite room and it was great. The breakfast buffet is good and appears to be quite fresh every day. It doesn’t change too much throughout the week but you can order other food on the menu if you’d prefer to switch it up. The views of the caldera from the hotel are amazing and the sunsets here are second to none. It is easy to navigate the island and the reception can help arrange everything essentially. Rides to Fira, Oia, or anywhere else, excursions such as Catamaran/private island tour, massage/spa, etc. My only minor criticism is the music by the main pool (yes, there is more than one pool), which is the same style of music being played over and over again, with some of the same songs playing twice or three times. If you have a pool day it can become repetitive. Could do with a genius shuffle playlist or something and work in some European music, no need for anything more involved than that. A special thanks to Petros, Costas and George! 9.7/10. I’m sure I will be back!

The views at this hotel are absolutely breathtaking and were the highlight of our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the expectations of a five-star resort. The staff was consistently slow, and there was very little pool service. Drinks had to be ordered and picked up from a walk-up bar, and guests were expected to return their own glasses afterward. What was most disappointing was the aggressive approach to tipping at checkout. Given the limited level of service throughout our stay, the pressure to leave an additional tip felt inappropriate and left us with a negative final impression. While the scenery and accommodations were excellent, the service experience fell well short of what we expected from a luxury property.
