Wonderful staff

The place is dated but location is interesting. The staff were wonderful. The beach is dark sand but nice. Water very warm and calm in bay. The rooms need updating but were fine.

We really loved our stay here ....The staff were amazing...the area was clean and very quite ... nice beach area....If you stay here I suggest you rent a car as it is not near shopping or other restaurants so need a car to go to shopping and dining areas like playa hermosa . We really loved the food here also and overall really happy with our stay

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful, clean, very quiet, set in lush gardens. Perfect to unwind for a few days or longer. Great staff and service. Only 30 min drive from Liberia Airport. I totally recommend!

Quiet and beautiful. Friendly staff, nice artwork, clean, and live the beach front chairs. They made breakfast boxes for us before heading to airport for early flight. Definitely recommend!

The only option available for us was a family style room. It was spacious in that there were two queen beds and a sitting area. Our patio was completely secluded due to the trees in front. The property itself is so beautifully landscaped. Your stress will melt away! The staff is friendly and accomodating. I asked for an iron and one was delivered promptly, though they weren't sure if there were any. It was away from the town area and anything you do away from there will cost a grip to get to. Perfect getaway for a couple!

Great spot on the beach

The room is spotless and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The gardens were simply amazing. The property itself is a little dated, but nothing was lacking. Lovely stay right on the beach. Accommodating our vegan dietary needs.

Beautiful resort. Private beach front. The staff was amazing and friendly, top notch service. There are several nice beaches nearby. No restaurants close by, the food at the resort is fine, but a pretty limited menu. This is the perfect place for a quiet get away, lots of nature, not a long drive to el recon de la vieja volcano which is amazing. It was very clean, we would return.

We spent 6 nights at this hotel and it was a lovely stay. The room was large and very clean. The hotel grounds were well maintained and surrounded by nature. The pool.was great and there was a very nice hammock and fire pit area for relaxing. There were not many guests during our stay so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lastly, the staff were wonderful, especially Andrea in the restaurant who was just a lovely lady who took great care of us.

Price does not justify the room. The room was dated and was slightly damp due to the rainy season. The television only worked one day. Thank goodness they had no availability for the last two days of my stay and I was able to go to another hotel.

Hotel is ok, restaurant was overpriced and food average. Poor service in restaurant. Was double charged for drinks. No good vibe there, no beach amenities, not even a chair at beach. Will not be returning.

The facility and service are great, but if you looking for a beach, look somewhere else - it's non existent. This part of Panama beach cannot be used for swimming as is very shallow and have hundreds of rocks - there is no place to get to water above your knees.

We stayed at this hotel during the last 4 days of our 2-week trip so, we really liked that the resort was quiet and occupancy seamed to be low. At times we were the only ones at the pool. We had some challenges at this resort with the safe not working (we went through 4 of them), swarms of ants in our unit and the hotel cleaning staff leaving our back sliding glass door open. Which was a problem considering the safes are not bolted down. However, all of our issues were remedied very quickly and staff were very apologetic. It is really the staff that made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a good variety every day but my husband made a comment that there were no waffles and they said no problem and made him waffles. I also asked where there was a nearby restaurant that made enchiladas and they said no problem we will make them for you. They were terrific! We wanted to use the SUPs and thought that they would be provided as part of their amenities but they were $15 USD ($23 CAD) to rent so we chose not to spend the extra money. The beach front close to the resort is a little murky so you have to walk further down if you want to swim. We preferred the pool anyways. The pool does have some leaves in it but it was being cleaned daily. Small price to pay to have lots of natural shade. The trees also attracted lots of howler monkeys, large iguanas and black vultures. This was our afternoon entertainment.
