"This is a beautiful hotel. I cannot recommend it enough. The location is fantastic. The restaurant is small, but lovely. The staff was very professional. The only thing I didn't like was the spa music in the hall. It's rather loud and fills your hotel room. You're forced to listen to it. It started at 5 AM and woke me up. Thankfully, they shut it off when I asked. It was a bit odd; I paid for the rooms, but my slightly older friend was the one they handed a business card to and consulted. Overall, this is an extraordinary hotel. You're in your own private oasis amid a bustling tourist area. "

"This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The shuttle bus picked us up from the train station within 10 minutes. Our luggage was already at the hotel and placed in our room. Our room was ready early so we were able to go and rest a bit. We chose a room with a private onsen which was amazing after a very long day of walking. We reserved the private onsen with both types of onsen water and used that one the first evening. The area around the hotel is very hilly so the shuttle was great. "

"Clean room. Very comfortable bed and pillows! However, it is tiny - basically a thin strip of floor on two sides of the bed ( other two sides are the walls). Could only open my carry on on the need. Big suitcase was a struggle to open - we had to move off the bed to get it open and even to put it down closed was very tight. Otherwise, good location for walkability, and extremely comfortable bedding; clean."
