We stopped here on our way home from Florida. It happened to be on the night of the lighted boat parade. It is an excellent location. Walking distance to most areas in the Historic District. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the rooftop bar on a chilly night they had the fireplace going and it was warm and comfortable.

The room was very clean and nicely organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good, whether in the restaurant or through room service. The ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing with lots of ares to sit and chill.

The hotel is safe and clean with large rooms. We enjoyed our stay. The valet staff were friendly and efficient. The front desk was not very friendly though.

The rooms was clean. There wasn't a luggage rack, closet, or refrigerator. The beds were very low to the ground but they were king size which was nice. It's $35/per day resort fee but they give you half of that back daily to use in the resort. Hotel is decorated nice. Hotel is in close proximity to downtown and plant riverside district. They charge $55 a day for valet and there isn't anywhere to park if you bring a car.

Yes there are alot of shopping places on Riverstreet and places to eat. Also the hotel as a nice restaurant and bars. City Market is across Bay Street.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

Had a lovely stay at the Alida for my first trip to Savannah. The hotel was beautifully decorated and in a very convenient location. Parking was difficult to find and I ended up having to use the valet service, which had a high daily fee. The pool area was nice and dinner at Rhett was good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here for a last minute Labor Day trip!! The hotel and staff beyond exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return. We spent most of our visit hanging out by the pool and enjoying cocktails during the afternoon. The bartender was super fun and gave us great recommendations for the evening we had ahead of us!! One of the cool things about Savannah is all of the well preserved old buildings. We didn't necessarily want to stay in an old house or hotel, so we chose The Alida. I don't know the whole story, but it looks 'old' on the outside, but the inside is super modern and just beautiful. The room was big and open and clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect as well, walking distance to the historic distric, River Street and the City Market. The weather didn't cooperate on the trip so we spent more time in the room than planned, but I enjoyed every moment at the hotel!

Staff is great! Great king size bed rooms with amenities. They give you water bottles to fill in hall with 3 types of water. Love the roof bar which they gave me a coupon to use while I was up there and they had a DJ. They have a restaurant an another bar downstairs. Nice size pool to swim or lay around. I saw a guy laying out drinking coffee. Valet parking for me. Convenience to River Street. We had a fantastic night. Wish I could have stayed longer.❤️ Till next time Alida… Linda
