"Hotel was NOT what I expected based on reviews & photos. Looks and feels like a budget hotel. Looks ran down, not a well maintained property. Multiple power outages during the first night of my stay (ended up transferring to a much better hotel). Beach and pool area are just OK, not nearly as nice as expected. Front desk NEVER answers the phone, placed multiple calls not once were they answered. Phone did not function in the room so I was unable to order room service. Food at Wreck Bar restaurant was pretty good, and the ‘mermaid’ swimming next to the bar was a cute feature. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel."

"We absolutely loved our weekend escape. The environment was so friendly and had everything we needed to relax. A great mini vacation with a Bruce Springsteen concert just minutes away."

"The resort is in need of immediate attention. The rooms were moldy, the carpet should have been removed years ago. The pool and deck area looked condemed. Overall please know if it wasn't late when we arrived I would have contacted Expedia for a change. This facility should be removed from your site until renovations are made. TRUTH. "

"Not a fan I hate staying at places and it smells like cigarettes. Doesn’t look clean, needs a paint job, blowdryer didn’t work, door could hardly open, curtains looks old with a hole in it. Not a fan will not return. "
