"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

"Because it’s an old property there isn’t enough plug sockets in the room & trying to do my hair without a mirror by a socket & somewhere to sit was pretty impossible So if your not bothered with this it’s a fine place to stay Missed fresh fruit at breakfast "

"Check in was very efficient and she answered our questions quickly. Her dining recommendation was very solid. Delightful room with essentially a glass wall, lots of light. Nice bedding, lighting, kettle coffee/tea, furnishings. Quite a bit of people noise and room door lock beeping in the hallway. "This is a great hotel for value for money. I may have caught it on a good weekend for pricing but the rooms were exceptionally clean and facilities great. Very central, no traffic noise. Gym is small but enough for a quick work out. Breakfast was good, everything catered for (except mushrooms). All included in the price. Staff were exceptionally friendly. I would say better than Travelodge or Premier Inn. Go to hotel in Preston."

"Stayed here to attend a conference on site which was convenient. Breakfast is very good and I really liked the on site spa and fitness facilities. The spa had a promotion with the hotel which was good. The room is nice, comfortable and clean. Would’ve appreciated a mini fridge in the room although the hotel staff allowed me to keep things in reception. The reception staff are generally very helpful except one male manager during my stay who was not very flexible or helpful."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room with ensuite. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. Great choice at breakfast, including those, like me, who only want a continental breakfast. We dined in the attached restaurant both nights and the food, and service, was very good. We arrived by bicycle and safe storage was provided. All in all great value for money and highly recommended."
