I really wanted to love this place. There were rooms available last minute. We were able to get a two room suite for cheaper than two separate rooms at any of the other places in the area.The building was really beautiful and the rooms were cute. The staff we met were helpful and very nice. The room came with a couple free drinks and chocolates, which was a nice touch. The rooms, bathroom, and common areas were clean.
The not so great stuff: The beds were uncomfortable. If noise bothers you, this is not the place to stay. One of the windows banged around with every gust of wind and did not block any sound out. We were able to stop the banging with a little piece of toilet paper. Also, the water pressure in the shower was very weak and there wasn't really anywhere to set stuff down near the sink, which was mostly bothersome because the toilet didn't have a lid, so if you set something it could easily fall into the toilet.
Also, one of the reasons we chose this hotel was that it was supposed to have a restaurant, but it wasn't open during the hours indicated. The bar was also not open. The person at the front desk was really helpful though and suggested a couple places not far away. We didn't really see any other guests, so maybe we were there in the off season or something, but it would have been nice to know in advance.
