The staff at Ellen Bay Inn are so friendly, and they make your stay in Antigua feel like you’re there visiting family. I had some issues with my flight changing last minute, but Ellen Bay Inn quickly responded to my email with my new details, and I felt like I was going to be looked after. On arrival, Trevor was there waiting for me at the airport with a smile, and Sharon was at the hotel waiting for me also with a smile. I felt like I was at home. I would absolutely recommend Ellen Bay Inn and say there again.

This is a great spot if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. Not many amenities and it’s difficult to get food (or drinks). Nothing else around so we did eat crackers a few nights. Sweet and friendly staff! Just know what you’re looking for. We moved elsewhere midweek where we could get food and drinks

Its away from big city. Clean, host was excellent and kind. She said its a family owned restaurant and hotel. We stayed one night prior to our big all inclusive location. It's nice to stay with a family place and she can cook excellent. She worked for Marriott for 15 years too.

My stay at Ellen Bay was very relaxing. I came to the property when everyone else was leaving which made my stay peaceful. Food can be made to order on property which was super convenient and affordable, all you have to do is order ahead. Transportation was available for an extra fee from the airport and that driver ended up being my driver for the duration of my stay (I appreciate you Trevor). Staff is super friendly and the property is located less than 5 minutes walk to the sting ray excursion which is discounted if you're staying at this property along with the turtle excursion which I missed out on. Super affordable if you're in a budget.

We have only good things to say about Ellen Bay Inn. It offers personal, local accommodation. The owners are friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available if you are wanting to eat there. The food was local Caribbean food and very good. The property is pet friendly and we were able to walk our dog in the neighbourhood. Ellen Bay Inn does have an airport shuttle which is very handy and well priced. We had a nice overnight stay there in transit to another island and hope to stay at Ellen Bay Inn again next year.

Property is quaint, great food offered for breakfast and be certain you know if you will be eating dinner there by 4 to place order, otherwise you may not have the opportunity. Smoking is allowed anywhere (not in rooms)on the property so be prepared if you’re not a smoker. If you’re driving, parking and streets around property are very rough. Hosts and chef are so sweet and very helpful. Location is amazing to walking to stingray village and short drive to amazing beaches w bars. USD was widely accepted. Local market and eatery around corner from property too that was a fun local vibe.

A good place to spend the night

We spent a night there, and despite being simple, it really helped us. The owner received us in a very friendly way and although it was a little bit late, she was very kind and prepared us something to eat. The air conditioner was already on in our bedroom and the bedding and the room were totally clean. The bedroom has a nice space and there were two double beds. Regarding the location, it's far from downtown, and if you're looking for restaurants/ cafeterias, they aren't around. Breakfast is available.

Too distant and disconnected for me.

The place is remote and nestled within what appears to be a residential area. Without maps, it would be difficult to find. There was no one at the office upon arrival. No instructions were provided on what to do to check in. I had to ask a neighbor to contact the number on the door. We waited for someone to show up. Wifi was weak. Room was clean and tidy.
