You’ll find charming cafés, locally owned shops, and excellent markets nearby, especially around the town center, which is just a short stroll or bike ride away. It’s a welcoming, upscale community that feels like a true escape—but with everything you need close at hand.

Ensuring the safety and security of our guests and property is our top priority. For guests without a strong recent history of bookings or those making last minute reservations, we may require a screening through a third-party background check called Autohost. This process may require additional information such as credit card and government-issued ID to verify your identity.

Additionally, as part of our safety protocol, we may require you to sign a rental agreement prior to your stay. We understand that this may seem like an inconvenience, but we promise it's painless and easy. If guests do not check out on time or stay beyond checkout date, Airbnb guarantees collection for unpaid nights and we are authorized to collect for double the original average nightly accommodation fee, plus applicable taxes and fees for every day the guest overstays without consent. The guest has specifically pre-authorized Airbnb to charge for overstay. Airbnb will help us the host collect these fees.

You can rest easy knowing your space is covered with $1,500 In “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.

With “all-risk” protection, accidental damage from a guest is covered unless it’s specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

Please sort out trash and dispose of it into appropriate bins. ♻️👍 Please leave it in cans inside the house if you’re not sure where to throw it and our cleaners will take care of it. 🧹

🔍 < LOST & FOUND >
Please check that you have all your personal belongings with you! If you accidentally left something in the house, we can ship misplaced items but we will charge a $100 handling fee and the shipping fee, so please make sure not to leave anything behind! 😅💸

📬 < NO MAILBOX ACCESS >
We do not offer mailbox access unless it is a long-term stay, but package deliveries left at the door are up to guest discretion. Please note that we cannot be responsible for any lost or inaccessible packages! 🙏📦

🐾 < NO PETS >
We love pets, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate them at our home. 🐶🚫 Please make arrangements to keep your furry friends elsewhere during your stay.

🧼 < CLEAN AS YOU GO >
Please help us keep our home clean by cleaning up after yourself as you go. 🧹🚽 This includes washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and putting away any items you use. 🧼👍

If you're flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), you’re just a 20–25 minute drive away. The most convenient option is to grab an Uber or Lyft from the airport—Mercer Island is directly off I-90, so you’ll be cruising across Lake Washington in no time.
Coming from downtown Seattle? It's just a 10–15 minute drive or a short light rail and bus combo (Link light rail to Judkins Park or Rainier, then a quick bus ride).
