"We have stayed at several places, but this one has been one of the best. It was a spacious, comfortable home with all the necessities provided (though the foam on the ironing board is lacking). It is within approximately 30 minutes of everything. It is quiet with a wonderful firepit to enjoy the evenings. The owners are excellent, and quick to answer any questions. The online welcome book is likely the best I have seen. Definitely recommend for larger parties looking to escape to the tranquility of north Georgia. "

"The listing was very accurate. Based on prior reviews, I thought they would correct some of the inconveniences. There were no hangers. There was no toilet paper holder or towel holder. The air-conditioning heating units did not work. I had to eventually turn off the system and open the windows. There needs to be instructions on how to change from heating to air-conditioning. The symbols on the air-conditioning unit are confusing to understand unless you’re familiar with that unit. There were no sheets for the sofa bed. based on prior reviews, several people had requested these simple changes and I thought they would’ve been done. They seem like very easy changes for the owners to improve someone stay at the home. I’m not sure they are looking at their reviews."

"The tiny house was very nice. Only 2 issues. The property did not have supplies such as soap, TP, garbage bags and paper towels when we arrived but the property manager provided the supplies as soon as we asked. Also the hot water on the bathroom sink did not work."

"This was the perfect place for spring break. The cabin's setting offers a beautiful view of Lake Burton and it's a short drive to restaurants and shops in both Clayton and Clarkesville. We loved the hot tub and gas fireplace, which proved handy on chilly nights. The kitchen was well appointed and spacious, and the bathrooms are updated and clean. In fact, this was one of the cleanest rental properties we've stayed in through the years. The staff was extremely helpful and communicated well. We highly recommend the Overlook at Lake Burton."
