"This was a great weekend getaway and very clean! They had pretty good selection of appliances but you should bring your own grill and fire pit appliances and poker. Also keep in mind the bathroom water pressure was a bit low and the hot tub controls were a bit wonky but everything else was wonderful and this place is relaxing and very quiet. I would recommend staying here!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Overlook at Lake Burton SO much. The overall cleanliness was definitely a plus, and the hot tub was wonderful. Everything worked well and we had no issues at all. The view of the lake from the hill was beautiful, especially early in the morning when the house was filled with light. We enjoyed eating outside on the covered porch. Everything seemed as though it had been freshly dusted and cleaned, and it was very organized. The beds and couch/chairs were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!"

"The view from the living room and sun room is absolutely beautiful! We were able to cook for every meal. My kids were especially happy about getting their own rooms with king size beds. Each room is equipped with a smart tv, which was a great bonus for when we all wanted to relax on our own. The hot tub helped us end our days in total relaxation.Please note that you have to drive your trash 8 minutes away. We didn't find out until we were leaving and trying to find the outdoor trash can. At that point we were already packed and loaded in the car."

"The listing was very accurate. Based on prior reviews, I thought they would correct some of the inconveniences. There were no hangers. There was no toilet paper holder or towel holder. The air-conditioning heating units did not work. I had to eventually turn off the system and open the windows. There needs to be instructions on how to change from heating to air-conditioning. The symbols on the air-conditioning unit are confusing to understand unless you’re familiar with that unit. There were no sheets for the sofa bed. based on prior reviews, several people had requested these simple changes and I thought they would’ve been done. They seem like very easy changes for the owners to improve someone stay at the home. I’m not sure they are looking at their reviews."
