"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. "De passage dans la région nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner 2 nuits au Manoir de la vieille douve, un très bel établissement, parfaitement bien rénové, dans un cadre très agréable. "Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été reçu par l'hôte qui s'est montré très avenant et à l'écoute. La maison est juste splendide, notre chambre était confortable et bien équipée. La salle de bains commune est très grande. Niveau propreté, tout est nickel. La piscine couverte et chauffée est juste formidable même s'il faut traverser la maison pour y accéder."

"lovely place in the quiet countryside. only 10-15mins drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shops etc.. Perfect if you want to stay away from the traffic/town noise. I was only 30mins drive from Rennes which was perfect. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and their food is excellent. "

"This property was a real unique find and was set in such a tranquil area. Beautiful, large, bedroom and bathroom all well furnished. A bonus was the swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Definitely worth a visit and the owners were charming and welcoming. "
