Because of this property, we would love to go back to Jeju Island just to experience it again. The architectural design is quiet, calm with a touch wow factor. It really matches the surrounding. The complimentary breakfast was like a feast. The staff are so nice and pleasant. We got the suite with two bedrooms and it's for 3 people. It comes with two natural spring water wooden bath tubs. I can't ask for anymore of a property.
Best place we’ve ever stayed at. The front desk was incredible and very nice. He was able to communicate with us in English perfectly. The black pork and abalone soup were delicious. The beds were divine. The in room hot spring was transcendental. All staff members were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!!!
It sounds like you had a very enjoyable stay. The Olecil and the well-maintained golf course were nice amenities, and although you didn't get to try the sauna this time, the Korean-style room was lovely with a beautiful garden.
Podo hotel offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Their staff are attentive, friendly and helpful, every customer is a VIP. Once you enter the hotel, you can smell the sweet fragrance of podo (grapes), which lighten your mood instantly.
My husband and I found Jeju so oppressive and crowded that we were extremely grateful to be able to escape to the peace and tranquility of the Podo Hotel. The architecture and the surrounding nature were breathtaking! The staff was very good if somewhat reserved. We ate our dinners at the restaurant and we found the food superb! I would say the star of our trip to Jeju was Podo, not the island.
The place is absolutely amazing. The rooms are beyond beautiful and all details are thought through. The Onsen bathroom is the best.
Only one minus: the restaurant on-site could be a little bit more tasty, especially since there is only that option and the coffee nicer. However, the welcome package in the room is lovely, the staff very welcoming. Would definitely come back.
Beautiful interior space, delicious food, kind & responsible staff. The only problems I had were the bar menu ( only wine, sake, and soju ) and my room's sliding doors' condition; I couldn't completely close the sliding door to the garden because the left side door was a little forward toward the interior side and it doesn't align with the right side door.
Wonderful property sited in a lush and scenic hillside, with views all the way down to the south coast, that made for a peaceful and beauty-filled experience. Very generous breakfast with 6 different sets to choose from (could never finish it). The hotel guest card gets one discounts at many attractions and museums, not just the others operated by Pinx. This was a wonderful bonus to staying at the Podo. The only down side is that the fitness and other facilities are sited in the sister hotel (Annex hotel), a 3-min drive down the road.
