4/10
This could be a lovely hotel, however, it is ruined by rules and clipboard police staff enforcing them around the pool area.
The rest of the staff are lovely and professional, however, the pool staff wouldn't be amiss in North Korea.
Children been told off for not wearing arm bands when they are able swimmers or for using a mask instead of goggles are just some of the petty rules this hotel enforces on its customers.
The hotel was nowhere near full with plenty of sunbeds around the main pool but if you didn't reserve a bed the clipboard police would be over to lecture you about the rules.
Even with a reservation they try to move you after 90 minutes as it has been reserved (by who? And why can't they use the one next to us? Or one of the nearly 40 free and empty ones?).
We were sitting in the pool when we were summoned to the side - we seriously thought something bad had occurred and they'd searched for us. No, simply to be told we needed to move.
Whilst we persisted that we can stay on our bed and they relented they still swiped up our towels when we were next having a dip meaning we had to trudge back across the complex for fresh towels.
Another day, we were unable to reserved a bed at 4.20 despite there being at least 20 unreserved. Even trying to sit on one and a clipboard will arrive within seconds to whisk you off them.
There is another pool but this is charged at £12 for 2 hours. Unfortunately it is still patrolled by the police. Literally 1 minute overs
