"Just what we wanted to end our stay in Portugal after visiting Lisbon, Sintra and Porto. The grounds and hotel were "chill" -- peaceful and restful. The staff was wonderful. We had a side trip to Nazare' and thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset on the beach while having a cocktail. The staff was helpful in directing us to a pharmacy just a short distance away. All made the process most painless. I would recommend this hotel to all who want to see a quiet side of Portugal."

"Absolutely perfect location and hotel. Parking available. Friendly staff. Wifi. AC/heating. Clean room. Free breakfast. Outside the busy castle but RIGHT along the wall so you can walk right in. Beautiful views from hotel. Pool. I'd recommend staying in the best room (there are only 2) that are right near the pool and very private from the rest of the hotel."

"Amazing breakfast. Nice extra touches, convenient location. Had difficulty with the “included parking” as the pass wasn’t working and not accepted by the attendant so had to pay ourselves. Told the front desk staff and they were going to follow up."

"The team at the front desk, restaurants and those who are driving the shuttle deserve a huge amount of plaudits. They make the place run smoothly. Cheila on the front desk could not have been more helpful and helped us organise Snorkelling in Berlenga and Surfing in Peniche. The apartment and pool were perfect for the 6 of us. We didn’t play golf but the courses looked gorgeous"
