"I originally booked a single room but the bed was amazingly narrow and could not sleep well, so had to upgrade to a bigger bed. Don't choose this option unless you are a dwarf. The breakfast was poor value. Don't choose it.
On the positive side, the location of the hotel is excellent, staff friendly and helpful and all spoke English."
"The people at the reception were so nice and very helpful. Really really nice!! Our room was on the same floor as the reception and the palier/ entrance in between the doors smelled really bad. It was a horrible sewer smell. Another thing you need to consider is the AC. They don’t turn it on. It gets hot at night and you cannot open the windows because of mosquitoes. "
"We had a three night stay in this beautifully restored hotel. Our room (Roald Amundsen) was huge and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We also had a drink on the rooftop terrace one evening for a stunning sunset. The location was brilliant in the heart of the old town - out of the hustle of the tourist zones but still easily accessible on foot. Breakfast being included was a bonus, though basic and would not have been worth paying extra for if not included. "
"There is no swimming pool and the restaurant is overpriced. However staff is very helpful and can book very good restaurants. They also advised on sightseeing and car rental. Better than average 4 star hotel "
