Rustic 1500-square foot cabin located in the resort community of Shagbark, which has gated access with 24-hour guard on duty. This cabin is secluded so you can enjoy the quiet beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The Parkway in Pigeon Forge is only minutes away, as well as Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Knoxville airport is 30 miles from the cabin.

No smoking in cabin please
Restricted community--no travel trailers allowed
Guests with pets--please check box "guest is bringing pets" so the $75 + tax pet fee is included in your booking amount.
Fireplace in operation November 1 through March 20 only
Community pool open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
Cabin is accessed via mountain roads
There are three stationary security cameras at the cabin. They are focused on the driveway and parking area, and the back yard.

Just Perfect!

Really needed a weekend away from reality and this place was the perfect stay! Bestie/Couple retreat. Just enough room for the 4 of us. Saw a momma bear and 2 cubs within the first 5 minutes of arriving right outside the hot tub! Bed were comfy, vibes were great, place was clean. We loved everything and hope to come back soon! Hospitality was spot on as well :) Thanks, Jackie!

Wonderful Relaxing Week

Great view and everything we needed for a week of R&R. Zero issues with the property. Short drive to the strip with all of the restaurants and attractions. Would definitely book again. Great host!

We had a great stay. The cabin is perfectly located for you to see the most gorgeous sunrises over the mountains. We would definitely stay here again. No complaints whatsoever.

Came up here from south florida with our dogs and absolutely loved our experience. The drive up to the cabin is a tad scary if youre not used to driving up mountains. But the price was fair and the views are 100% worth it

The views from inside and outside the cabins are amazing.

We had a great experience renting this property, all the views and feeling secluded were what we were looking for. The property is well kept and maintained, and you are only 15min from town, so if you forget something you don’t have to spend all day traveling. We will be booking more time at this property and will recommend to friends.

Best family vacation ever

This cabin is perfect for a family stay. It was clean, comfortable and the views are absolutely amazing!! The best part of our stay was seeing a bear!!! Our grandson was so happy here, he even left his own review in the guest book. Thank you for everything!!!

Fantastic Views

This place was super clean! Views from balcony were amazing. Beds we super comfortable after out hiking all day. Only downside for us was the drive up to get to the cabin was really steep and a little scary so had to make sure to be back before dark.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed ringing in the New Year with our family here! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the VIEWS were amazing from each of the 4 balconies. We cooked and grilled several nights. The cabin was very spacious. Pretty much everything we did was within a 15-30 min drive from the cabin.

Wonderful Cabin views are beautiful and everything you need is there. Jackie, the owner is outstanding with her communication with us. You are about 15 minutes from pigeon Forge highly recommend this was our second time we will be back again.

Great Smokey Mountain Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of three and we were able to bring our pup. The cabin was cleaned and as described. It had everything we needed and the location and views were perfect. Communication with our host Jackie was super easy and efficient. The property is lovely and serene and we saw bear cross behind the cabin on multiple days which was amazing. I would highly recommend this property.

Christmas on the mountain

We absolutely loved this cabin!! It was beautiful inside and out. The view was AMAZING!! Jackie went out of her way to make sure things were top notch. The cabin had a little something for everyone; hot tub, jacuzzi, pool table, arcade games, board games, and I could sit on the porch for forever. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Perfect

This cabin was everything I had hoped for for this getaway! It was clean, quiet and location was perfect with the most beautiful views. Only thing I can think of that was a bummer was that the jacuzzi tub uses so much hot water we didn’t want to risk everyone else not getting a hot shower that day. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Breathtaking beauty!

The cabin was fantastic! Exactly as pictured and described. The view was just breath taking and we very much enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying nature!! Had dun playing pool, and cooking out on the grill, and also relaxing in the hot tub! Overall had a really great time!! Jackie was very responsive and i highly recommend this cabin get away!!

Peaceful and lovely

Lovely cabin! Clean, well kept and comfortable. Great mountain views, beautiful sunsets watched from the porch. Plenty of space for 4 adults and comfortable accommodations. Kitchen has all the things needed to make meals, coffee pot and well maintained appliances. Nice to be located in a secure community so not a lot of traffic. It is conveniently located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg activities as well as the National Park. Would definitely stay there again!!

Amazing cabin and scenery.

The cabin was beautiful and stocked with enough supplies to get you through a few days. The views from the cabin are amazing and it is mostly secluded from other vacationers. We saw a bear in the neighborhood looking for food/water so listen to security when they tell you to secure your food from the wildlife. The owner was amazing responding to any questions we had. Definitely will request this cabin in the future if we return. We never had to drive more than about 25 minutes to visit any attraction.

Amazing!!!

The view was breathtaking!! Great cabin, fully stocked kitchen with all the dishes you could possibly need, some spices and a large fridge. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and a hot tub; so relaxing. The downstairs shower was a little hard to use because there wasn't a hand held shower and the shower head was so small but we managed. Cabin in quite the drive up some crazy roads but well worth the drive; just be careful! Nightly visitors, probably a possum or raccoon were a little scary, at first, but it was great! We will definitely put this on our list of places to book for return trips!!

damage charge error

I included one pet in my VRBO application. Owner charged damage claiming pet was not disclosed. There was no damage and owner refused to accept pet notification on VRBO application as sufficient prior notice of a pet. I advised VRBO of the issue but did not receive any help from VRBO.
