VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS!!! If you are looking for a beautifully decorated mountain cabin with stunning views and serenity, then Secluded Summit is the one for you. The cabin is situated on 3.5 acres of mountain top and has fantastic 180-degree views of Cove and Roundtop Mountains, all from the privacy of your front deck. The deck is very large and partly covered. It has a large outdoor dining table and chairs, a porch swing, four oversized rocking chairs, a hot tub, and fire pit (propane not supplied). As well, there is another covered outdoor back porch with two rockers, an outdoor swing, and a charcoal grill. Secluded Summit is a one level true log home and has recently been totally renovated inside and out. It has a modernized fully equipped kitchen which boasts all new stainless-steel appliances and granite counter tops. There are two very large bedrooms with king size beds and attached baths. The living room has new leather recliners, queen leather sleeper sofa, and a large chair and ottoman. It also has a 50” television, DVD player, Wi-Fi, and AT&T television. And in addition, there is a game console which has 64 games.
Would you like to go fishing while you are in town or go swimming? Secluded Summit has access to Honeysuckle Meadows seasonal outdoor swimming pool, deli, and year round outdoor fishing access. The pool is located about 4 and a half miles from the cabin. Secluded Summit has an ideal location and is only 7.5 miles to the Pigeon Forge parkway and 8 miles to Townsend. The back entrance to the GSMNP at Metcalf Bottoms is only 4 miles and there is easy access to Cade’s Cove, Gatlinburg, and hiking trails. Secluded Summit is secluded with one of the best views in the Smokies. Also enjoy the outdoor kitchen for those grilling nights enjoying those views. Outdoor surveillance device for security purpose. Parking for up to 2 vehicles. No smoking. Pet friendly. Dogs are welcome but must be under 35 lbs and additional fees apply and must follow Fireside Chalets pet policies. Sleeps 6.

Amazing views!!!

We enjoyed our Fall Break (10/5 to 10/8) in this incredible place. We spent a lot of time on the deck. Lots of seating, hot tub, and the most amazing mountains/sunrise/sunset views.

Perfect cozy mountain cabin!

Just as described and the views are even more gorgeous than the pictures show! Well maintained property and fast and polite owners! Furniture was comfortable, but the water pressure in the shower was light but functional. Large walk in shower was great and the hot tub was the highlight of our trip after walking all day and night!

The view

We loved the cabin , very well decorated and clean . The deck overlooking the trees and mountain was mesmerizing and ever changing with the clouds and the lightning at night . We sat out every night and did not want to go in .

Family Vacation

Great location, very high up and can see everything. If your not a fan of the mountains or long windy roads this isn’t for you. A little scary in the night but everyone absolutely loved it. Nice deck with fence to let the one year old run around.

Gorgeous view. Beautiful home, nicely decorated for season. Well equipped with quality essentials. Even had needed comforts for our pup. Almost perfect. Only down side: fire pit does not work! Carried a propane tank 300 miles, tried and dried everything to no avail! Overall highly recommend!

Seclusion at its finest!!

If you are looking for a secluded relaxing cabin this is it! I didn’t want to leave and I will definitely return! The cabin is beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean. The deck with hot tub is a great place to unwind. My grandson loved the arcade games. The management staff are wonderful to work with. The cabin is approximately 15-20 minutes from all the attractions. It’s a beautiful scenic drive. The driveway is very steep but no bother to me. If you are going in the winter you will need a four wheel drive vehicle.

Secluded Summit

Amazing views from the porch/deck! Beds and couches were comfy. Thermostat was password locked, but maintenance came and swapped it out so we could sleep cool. Only other minor gripe is that the propane tank for the fire table was empty. Wasn’t worth us to go get it filled for only 2 nights of fires, but it would have been nice! Overall great property (would work best for 2 couples).

Secluded Mountain Getaway

The Secluded Summit cabin was neat, clean and matched the pictures for the most part. There was a critter living among us that was a nuisance and not pleasant to see a mouse running around. The views were beautiful which made for some nice porch sitting, but still quite close to a road for a "secluded" cabin which put off road noise interupting the peace and quiet. The cabin was also in a great location to the National Park and nearby towns to include Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Amazing Views, Private

Beautiful property tucked away on a hill with no side-by-side properties. Views are stunning. Property was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

The perfect escape!

What a view and what a wonderful place to get away from it all. The property is so peaceful. The hubby and I enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and slow evenings by the fire pit. Great location and great rental experience with Fireside Chalet. Can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic Stay!

Everything was on point with our stay! The place was very clean, just as advertised, and had everything you need. The view was absolutely incredible and we really enjoyed the hot tub and large deck area.

Needed some attention

The view was beautiful. and all of the remodeling on the inside of the cabin was beautiful. But a few things needed some attention. The hot tub. Smelled very musty. We did notify. The property manager, but the issue was never addressed. We were also not able to use the grill. It was very dirty and infested with bees and wasps. that were flying all around us when we were trying to enjoy the view while sitting on the deck . Management did send out someone to address the issues with the bees in the grill but that did not work, because the bees did come back throughout the duration of our stay . There was a dog dish and a dog bed located in the cabin and the mat in front of the kitchen sink smelled of urine.

Summer Getaway

The view was phenomenal! You are literally at the top of a ridge. We were able to see a couple cabins nearby but were not disturbed by any sounds or activities. The decor was updated after our booking but the management let us know before our arrival. The cabin was the perfect size for our group. The driveway is steep! I’m sure a 4 wheel drive is needed when ice or snow is present. We loved our time there!

Mountain stay

The property was beautiful. The views are amazing! There’s a fenced in front porch, if your bringing your four legged friend it worked so nicely! The house was clean and well taken care of. The company was very nice and helpful. There was garbage strewn out of the dumpster out back when we got there. And there was 2 different bears at the back door on 2 different nights. We did not place any garbage out back, I even called to let them know and to leave all of our garbage inside from our stay. I think this is something to be warned about specifically that the bears have been at the back door as that is the only area to let your dog out and we had our children there. Both times our daughter went to take our dog out she yelled that there was a bear. I understand that there is wildlife and bears in TN but this issue could be taken care of with a better trash receptacle and notify specifically that there has been bear at the back door. Absolutely no complaints, just an opinion about what could be better on site. Worth the stay and the views! The gas fireplace, hot tub, and grilling station was amazing with the beautiful Mountain View!

Room for improvements

The view was great. The hot tub was dirty and needed chemicals. The floors were sticky. The toilet seats were loose. The tile was broken in coming up in the kitchen. There was only dishwashing detergent for three washes dish soap for one day. There were no supplies like saran wrap for y’all. And no condiments.

Amazing Views

This property has the best views of any we have stayed at before. The driveway is a bit of a hike but as soon as you get up there, it takes your breath away. The cabin is perfect for family and pet friendly. Oversized porch is fenced nicely in so the children and dog can roam freely..we basically lived out there since the view was so great. You feel completely secluded with no neighbors on top of you. The cabin had everything you could need and was very comfortable for our family of four. Would definitely return in the future..location was a short drive to the pigeon forge strip and about 25 minutes to Gatlinburg. If you are bringing a pet there is a nice little grass area in the back for bathroom trips.

Just WOW!

Arrival at property was a climb, but everyone's reaction was Wow! Amazing location and perfect deck to view the mountain scenery. Cabin was well equipped and had plenty of seating and creature comforts. Spent two peaceful evenings and looking forward to returning next year. If you are looking for a cabin with a Mountain View, this is definitely it.

Peaceful retreat

Great location and views, very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the hot tub nightly. Was thankful that our dog could join us. She had fun, too! Could use a little cleaning -- a good vacuum, mop and dusting — and it would be even better.
