This was our 1st trip to the mountains and we enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin was so beautiful inside and out. It has a huge game room for the whole family, hot tub was so nice, the master bathroom was my favorite (which was my room),the firepit was so nice for s'mores, and then the beds where so comfortable, no one wanted to get out of them in the morning. Also had everything we needed in the kitchen. Best cabin we have had by far.
This was the perfect cabin for our family during Thanksgiving week. You feel secluded but not to far away from everything in town. The kids didn't want to leave. Definitely recommended!
The host was amazing! Very communicative and answered all the questions that came up. The cabin was clean, well stocked for cooking and enough room for our party of 10. The game room had interesting arcade games and pool table. We loved the outdoor space and fire pit. We enjoyed the fire in the fire pit on a cold winter day! The location was perfect for the hiking activity we did..Walker Sisters Cabin and Middle Prong Trail. Overall a wonderful place to stay for our January get away!
My sister-in-law and I had a girls trip at the Cubs Den for 8 nights. Everything was perfect. The house was so well anointed with kitchen items (plates, cups, glasses, cookware, silverware etc.). The fenced in area in the back with the turf was perfect for my goldendoodle. The doggie poop bags, and garbage for the poop was a plus. Also provided was plenty of firewood. The walk-in shower was amazing as well. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding amazing. The cabin was absolutely perfect.
In the middle of everything but of the beaten path. There’s a one lane road that takes you back in this neighborhood of cabins, all of them on an acre plus lots, so you have neighbors but you’re not on top of them. Looked newly renovated when we stayed. Super well stocked kitchen, very hot water, and pet friendly. The mattress were all very comfortable and plenty of “common” spaces to just lounge. We’ll be booking again.
Very well equipped. Plenty of everything: towels, kitchen utensils, all the basics. House is well maintained and clean. Great value for large groups. Check in was a little rocky (don’t assume an early check in is possible even if the app offers it) but we managed. Would gladly stay again.
Overall our stay was great! We had a few issues with the place, but Red Door Getaways took care of them in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone who was looking to stay in the area!
My family and I had an amazing time! The cabin was spacious ,clean and had all the appliances, cookware, dishes and linens you could need. The wrap around porch had the most beautiful view and a lot of time was spent on the porch swing! The basement had a pool table, Atari & mortal combat machines, a bookshelf full of board and card games and huge Roku TV and 4 single beds! The master on the main floor had the most amazing shower and a huge tub. My family also enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit. I highly recommend this cabin for a big family or a group of friends! Would absolutely love to stay again!
Perfect cabin for our trip! My husband, myself, & a 24 & 25 yr old guys stayed here for 5 nights. The beds were super comfortable, the cabin was very clean, and the location was easy in & out of the neighborhood. The guys loved the pool table. The hot tub was great after day hikes to LeConte Lodge and the likes. The first day there we had something come up and needed assistance and within an hour, someone was at the cabin taking care of it. We were very appreciative of the quick response. Also, there were plenty of luggage stands/racks! Seems insignificant but it’s not! I’ve stayed in A LOT of rentals that have not supplied these. Those of us of a certain age don’t want to have to get on the floor everytime we need to go through our suitcase, especially after hiking 16 miles each day. So I appreciate the attention to detail. We will be back and would definitely stay in this cabin again.
Property was clean and well stocked with necessities. 2 areas I would suggest need addressing #1 it takes forever for the water to get hot at the sink in the master bedroom. No problem at all with the shower or bath just the sink. # 2 only one thermostat we could find for the whole house isn't pleasant. There is a huge temperature diffetence between the upstairs rooms and the downstairs. With the upstairs set on 71 or 72 for example the members of our family staying downstairs were very cold. We never actually measured the difference with a Thermometer but I'm guessing maybe a 7 or 8 degree difference which is substantial. Also there was some slight damage we weren't told about such as the door frame on the downstairs bedroom and some loose floor molding by in the rear door area. Looks like the staples or brads weren't substantial enough to hold. Overall we enjoyed the house though.
Our stay was wonderful. Birds singing while I sip my coffee on the porch swing in the morning was so peaceful. We chose this place because it fits our group of 10 dog. The fenced in area was great for our doodle in the hot tub so no bears could wander up to the back . The double back decks were a favorite hang out spot with so much seating. The kitchen was SO well stocked and all of the appliances worked as they should. There was enough silverware, plates , glasses, ect including two an one meal without having to wash dishes for our large group of 10. The washer & dryers were huge and we love not going home with a pile of dirty clothes and being able to wash towels during the week. The area is a favorite so far with many wonderful shops and restaurants right in the community.. It's really nice not to fight traffic just to leave the cabin. The " fancy bathroom" was a favorite and the kids loved having their own space downstairs. Our group had four teen girls who usually get stuck with bunk room so this setup was something they really enjoyed. One thing to note is that all the bathrooms are in the bedrooms. They are all full baths but had 3 full sized vehicles and pulling to the parking was steep but there was room for two to pull up on top and turn around and plenty of parking for my expedition on the bottom considering the incline itwas nice to have multiple entrances and it shows up on google easily. In fact we had Walmart drop groceries here with no problem.andWhilesneak
