About this property
SERENITY IN THE MOUNTAINS - Private-view-convenient-unique-hot tub-ev charging
This cabin has been used for numerous honeymoons and anniversaries. In addition, there have been at least 3 weddings performed in the cabin. On the other hand, it has also been used as a retreat when families have lost loved ones or to escape from an otherwise stressful life.
It has a nice view of the mountains, although the view is better in the winter when leaves are off the trees or after some trees have been thinned.
Enjoy the wildlife and mountains while relaxing in the rocking chairs on the back porch. In cooler weather, relax in front of the fireplace & enjoy the beautiful mountains through the floor to ceiling glass wall in the main living area. You can also relax in the whirlpool tub in the master bedroom or the hot tub on the back porch (the main picture was taken from the hot tub).
The cabin is on 2 1/2 acres of land and very private. From the living room sleeper sofa or recliner or from the back porch rockers or hot tub, you see no other cabins/houses, just the woods, wildlife, and Brush Mountain in the distance. Fall foliage is spectacular!
The master bedroom has a king size log bed, flat screen TV, DVD player, and whirlpool tub. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bathroom with shower/tub combination. The shower features selections for waterfall, rain fall, front spray, or hand wand.
There is 1 step up to the front porch & another step up to the main part of the cabin which has the dine-in kitchen, master bedroom .
The dining table & benches are red cedar handmade by a friend in Northport, AL. There is a locally made birch tree lamp in the main living area. Other lamp shades feature artwork of the Hautman Brothers who are wildlife artists with works in Smithsonian and the White House.
There is 1 step down from the main floor to the back porch which has the charcoal bar-b-que grill, rockers, & hot tub.
The 2nd bedroom & full bathroom (shower/tub combination) are located in the loft. It features a Hautman Brothers bedspread and lamp shade plus a locally made cedar lamp and locally made bear theme night stand. There is a flat screen TV, XBox 360 with video games & board games.
The living room is equipped with a 49" Roku TV with DVD, so movies and on the Roku channel are free. If guests have subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, etc. they can use those supscriptions on the TV as well.
The master bedroom & loft bedroom have flat screen TVs with DVD players. DVD movies and books are provided for your enjoyment and relaxation.
All the attractions along the Parkway in Pigeon Forge are only about 5 - 10 minutes away, while Dollywood and the national park are only about 10-15 minutes away. Snow skiing, Ripley's aquarium and museums are about 20-30 minutes away in Gatlinburg.
We have added an EV charging station for those with electric vehicles/hybrids. To use the charging station, contact the owner. There is a 1 time $50 charging fee for unlimited charging.

The host, Andy, was extremely helpful and hospitable. The scenery from the back porch, especially sitting in the hot tub, was serene. It was super cozy by the fireplace, though the cabin itself kept warm through the colder days. There was plenty of seating inside and outside, and the furniture was comfortable. Everything needed to create a home-cooked meal is ready at your fingertips. Very excited to book another stay!
The cabin is close to attractions but far enough out it is so quiet and peaceful the owner is amazing at making things right and giving a list of several options of stuff to do around their
We had the best time! We loved the location of the cabin, not too close to the main busy roads but then again not too far out! We will definitely rent this cabin again. We even saw a bear on our third night!
We had such a great experience!! Cabin was great. Very clean. When we first got there we had little hiccup with power outage but I must say the owner was so great with communication and making sure he could do anything to help. I very much appreciate that. My family had such a great time will be back again. Thank you
We absolutely loved this cabin! It was very clean and we could tell it was very well maintained. The fireplace made it even more cozy inside than it already was. After many trips to the Smokys, we FINALLY got to see our first bear in the wild right off the back deck when we first checked in! That absolutely made our whole trip!
We enjoyed everything about this cabin. Clean, comfortable, dog friendly. Andy provided detailed information about everything. Super easy check in and great view. Lovely fireplace. Nice back yard area for dog. Would recommend and would stay again if coming back to area. Thanks for a great experience in the Smokies!
Beautiful cabin & surroundings. Cabin was clean, had all the things needed. If you follow directions the driveway isn't an issue. We saw bears daily and we enjoyed watching them play. Thank you for sharing your cabin with others
Cozy. Nestled in the mountains. Clean. Road to get to property is treacherous with no room to pass another vehicle. Driveway is tricky. Nicely kept cabin. Really enjoyed back porch and hot tub. Liked not having another cabin right next to us.
The property was very cozy and had some Christmas decorations. The outside jacuzzi was hot and ready for my teenage kids to use as soon as we walked in the door. The location was fantastic, close to town, attractions and hiking. The owner was kind enough to suggest various hiking trails, which we did take advantage of.
Overall, definitely recommended! Only wish we had 1 more day there. Next time!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The pictures on the website could use some updating as they don't do it justice- it's a beautiful property and a lovely place to retreat. We had a series of unpredictable events including a maintenance issue and temporary loss of power due to storms. Our host went above and beyond to keep us informed and calm. He also arranged for us to have a wonderful meal at a great local restaurant once the roads were cleared from the debris. We would recommend his cabin and look forward to returning!loss of poeer due to
We loved everything about this cabin. A great place for a getaway. The views from the back porch is fantastic. You can see the mountains actoss the valley and at night its beautiful with the lights on the cabins across the valley. Very easy to get to anywhere in Pigeon Forge. Also close to wears valley. The communication with the owners could not have been better. They were full of very helpful information. I loved the beautiful touches in the cabin including the photos taken by the owners. Thank you very much and we look forward to staying there again
My husband and I really enjoyed our peaceful time here in May. Our 2-week stay did have a small (think young, hungry bear) interruption one morning. He did stay outside as he searched for trash containersonly to be dissappointed with our 'offerings'. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed! The location a few miles out of Sevierville kept us near anything we might need. Our host Andy was very friendly and helpful, full of a lot of information and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to the area.
This is a cute little cabin in the mountains. Very clean inside and out. Owner gave specific instructions on how to enter the driveway to make it easier to leave. Roads are steep and dark, so be careful. I had a small car was fine. Owner called to inform me of when maintenance was coming and pest control was coming. Owner is very sweet and sent lots of things for you to do on your vacation stay. I would definitely book here again.
My husband, two teen boys, and two doodles thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was spotless, beautiful, and very private. I felt like I was at home. It was well appointed and had many of the things that aren'tusually provided at a rental, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, extra towels, etc. We had great communication with Andy, who made sure we had a perfect trip. We'll definitely be back. Listening to the rain on the tin roof was icing on the cake. This place truly is a little slice of heaven on earth. We look forward to returning this fall or winter.
aren't. usually included in a rental
We loved staying at this cute cabin! It was perfect for me and my husband but could have brought either a couple of children or 2 more adults because there was another bedroom and full bathroom in the loft upstairs. Loved sitting on the couch and looking out the back door and windows to see the mountains across the way. You could also see them from the hot tub. Tons of privacy for the awesome hot tub. There were a couple of houses around but nothing that you could see at night and probably couldn’t see at all in the summer when the leaves were on the trees. Andy was absolutely wonderful to work with. If there was one negative thing to say, it would be that the driveway is a little challenging but not too bad. We would recommend this cabin and Andy 100% and can’t wait to go back!
THIS cabin is exactly what you want when you think of a cabin in the mountains. My wife, 16 yo daughter, her friend and myself had a fantastic long weekend getaway. The cabin is close enough to everything, yet far enough away that you are not in the middle of touristville! It is less than a five minute drive from the cabin to the main strip of Pigeon Forge and about 15 - 20 minutes from Gatlinburg.
Andy, the host is the best VRBO host I have ever dealt with. Upon receiving my confirmation, he reached out (via email) and provided more information about the local area than you could ever begin to imagine. He included top lists of restaurants, things to do, scenic drives, hidden places, EVERYTHING!!!
There is no doubt we WILL be back to this cabin.
We really enjoyed our moutain getaway. This place is secluded (there are still some surrounding neighbors although not super close ) and quiet. The driveway is steep but our minivan did just fine. Check in was easy. Lots of towels. Sheets were soft and mattresses were comfy. 2nd level is slightly more warmer than bottom level. There were toliet paper provided and paper towels. Backporch was so nice.
The host was probably the best host for a VRBO we hsve dealy with. So friendly and attentive. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best trip possible. We were so thankful. You can really tell that he cares. for the property.
My husband and I spent 7 nights in this beautiful cabin. The cabin was close to Pigeon Forge and provided a view of the mountain. There were no other cabins in sight. The first day we even had a bear visitor at the cabin. So amazing! The cabin provided everything that we could have wanted. It was perfectly cleaned and well-appointed.
Andy was a great host with amazing communication. He provided detailed emails about features of the cabin (did I mention the master bath shower?), driving directions and nearby activities that we could be interested in. He responded quickly to any email or text. He was such a friendly host.
This was the 8th cabin that we have rented in the area over the years. This was definitely one of the best. Thank you for a memorable trip to the Smokies!
