This trip was just what we needed. My husband has a terminal illness and the ocean seems to soothe both of our souls. We could sit anywhere in our room and see the ocean. Even though he could not make it out to the water, he could hear the waves rolling in and feel that ocean breeze. Everything we needed was on-site and the staff could not have been friendlier. I do want to give a Shout-Out to Patina Henry, who worked diligently to allow us to add another night to our trip. Her efforts did...

Our stay was good in every way for a one night stay.

We stayed 4 days 3 nights and it was great. Everything we requested (ex top floor, jetted tub) was filled. This was our 3rd time staying here and we will definitely be back.

Love that the room had extra living space. It had a living room/sitting area. Also had a table to eat on as well as a desk. Loved the step down into the sleeping area. The room had two tv’s and the couch was also a pull out bed. City view was amazing! Very clean hotel inside and out. Very affordable! Close to a lot of shops and restaurants! The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all! 10/10! Will definitely be back!

This is a perfect throw-back motel. Great staff, all of them characters, great restaurant, beautiful pier, close to the State Park. Just wonderful, we'll definitely visit again.

Customer service was outstanding. Price was awesome. Close to Fort Macon, Atlantic Beach, Croatan National Forest. If you don't plan to stay in the hotel all day but just need a family pet friendly place: this is it! We were out most of the time, breakfast was good and free, we needed extra towels and they brought them in less than 1 minute. We had our dog, kid, and teenager and we were really happy with the hotel and staff.
