"Location of property is very good as is overall property. Stayed in suite which I think is well worth extra money but furniture in main area of suite I feel could use updating. Have stayed here many times and will come back again. "

"Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff we couldn’t get into our room until 6pm! The floor in our room was gritty due to sand being brought into the room. The room obviously hadn’t been swept for some time and the shower tray wasn’t particularly clean. Location of hotel was very good, right on the beach. The beach was great, white powdery sand. We sat on the beach and didn’t use the pool as there was loud music blearing out there. There were lots of kids running around. Hotels.com website says that beach sun loungers and umbrellas are complimentary, but in fact this is incorrect as you had to pay $55 per day!"

"lack of designated parking for motel guest was not ideal, but wasn’t that much of an inconvenience either. The room was better than described, and I will be returning there on my next trip to the Gulf Coast!"

"From the moment we arrived until we left everything was perfect. Front desk was welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. The lounge and 3 restaurants were clean, wait staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and plenty of parking. Can’t wait to book it again!"

"Hotel was very nice and clean, room was clean. Very convenient having a fridge and microwave in the room. Views were fantastic. Pool was clean, bar was great and had good food too. A couple downsides, I got a text message before the stay asking if I wanted to “pay a discounted rate for parking” I selected yes and still got charged for the full amount after we left the hotel at the end of our stay. The walls are so thin we could hear every single conversation and noise that either of our neighbors made on each side of us. The newly remodeled bathroom looked great but the faucet for the sink was literally almost unusable, it was the wrong size and you couldn’t hardly wash your hands without running your fists into the back of the sink. The shower also leaked all over the bathroom floor through the shower doors. The last thing was I got a $6 charge a couple days after we left for “2 bottles of water” in the room. We never touched these $3 bottles of water, but got charged anyway. We reached out and the hotel never replied. Would love for someone to contact me about these charges and the problems we had with the hotel but it seems like they don’t care."

"We had a wonderful time staying here! The condo was very clean, the pool/lazy river was great, and the host’s are very friendly and responsive. I hope we can visit again soon."

"The room was very clean; however, there was a lack of any sort of broom/dustpan and zero paper towels available when arriving. We opted to avoid any room service during the stay, and the lack of broom made it difficult to keep sand out of the room. We only went to the pool one day, we were honestly a little underwhelmed with the size of the pool - I can't imagine how cramped the pool would seem during more peak times of the year. We had to do a last minute audible on where we were staying (going from a beach rental to a property located on the harbor), and we were absolutely not disappointed with the beach shuttle service - but I could see there being some requests for it to run later as it ended around 5-6 PM. Location of the property offered A LOT to do during the trip regardless of external weather conditions. There seemed to be a lot to do in the area for many different crowds/ages. Never been to a spa or had a professional massage before, but the Emerald Grande set the bar high for future spas/massages with their paid on site services. Renovations made getting into the Harbor Suites room restricted/odd, with the only entrance/exit to the floor the rooms are located on being the parking garage. I could see this being a safety concern as the parking garage itself was available to the public (with levels 3 and above requiring a room key to access via a car). If I were a female patron, I'd have been more concerned always having to go through the parking garage."
