My husband and I stayed at the Radisson for 5 nights. Front start to finish, not once did we have a positive interaction with the staff. They were unhelpful and unprofessional, and all but one seemed like they had no interest in being there. For a “five star” hotel, we were honestly shocked at the absence of any real hospitality.
One issue was the breakfast. Our room didn’t include breakfast — okay, we knew this. One morning we wanted to have breakfast at the hotel, we tried to purchase a breakfast for us both at the entrance of the dining hall, where we paid exactly the amount they told us. It was a lot, but we figured it was fine since the food was good. Then the next morning we try to get breakfast again. This time, a female staff member directed us to come to the front desk with her, since there was apparently a discount for guests… My husband and I were pretty pissed, since the day before the other staff had swiped our room cards and had us pay full price, knowing there was a discount for us as guests. When I brought this to their attention, they essentially blamed us for not going to the desk. How were we supposed to know any of this?
Another night there were issues with our USB ports in the room. We called downstairs, and an extremely rude woman came to our room, entered without so much as a hello, then rummaged around before telling us our cords have issues and left without a goodbye or kind word.
There is more but I am at the word limit. Seriously disappointed.
