We booked a double room with a king size bed for one night. The bed was two single beds pushed together. The room was tired looking: the grouting in the tiling was dirty, chewed / dented furniture, etc. cleanliness was also an issue: there was a disturbing looking stain on the bed scarf, there were small hairs in the bedding, and the bottom of the shower curtain was dirty. Breakfast was nice, but nothing to shout about. The variety of food available was okay, we just questioned the quality of some of the food items on offer. Whilst the staff were friendly and were attentive to our needs throughout our stay, the quality of Best Western hotels has (in my opinion) declined over the years based on the price offered. There is no excuse for cleanliness. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Room was clean, a bit dated but everything worked. The water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired. Had dinner in the restaurant on the last night which hasn't really worth what i paid for it but we couldn't be bothered to go out. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and clean. Checkin was effortless and the staff were friendly.

Helpful staff, clean bathroom although shower was like warm. Comfy bed and quiet which is key for a hotel stay! Rooms area little tired and could do with an update but for £55 cannot complain too much. No sockets by the beds as well. Breakfast offers freshly cooked eggs and the poached egg was perfectly cooked. Had a good selection and whilst did not have the buffet breakfast it looked nice and well cooked. Overall great stay and would recommend for the price.

It’s a fairly depressing budget hotel, which needs some maintenance to be a ‘decent stay’ in my opinion (stained carpets, mildewy bathroom tiling, badly done sealant etc). I’d choose any other budget chain over this one, especially as prices are very similar (too high for this hotel in my opinion) Lovely staff and comfortable bed though
