Excellent studio apartment

Excellent studio apartment with all the facilities you'd need for a short stay, in a clean, modern building and at a great price. Great central location and good for trams, especially if travelling to Tramlines festival. Lots of extra facilities in building like a laundry room which was very useful. Would definitely stay again next time in Sheffield.

good location as within walking distance to city center. clan too. The sheets were washed with cheap stuff and the smell was quite noticeable. Hotels use washing up soap that you can t smell at all. Quite off putting.

Arrived in room. No bedding or towels. Had to make my own bed after going back to reception to obtain bedding. Had to go back again when I realised there were no towels either. Photos on listing are NOT the property. Misleading. Absolutely rubbish stay. Would not recommend at all. Feel sorry for students who actually have to 'live' in these spaces. CRAP.

My experience at Students Only Hollis Croft was very disappointing. Despite booking well in advance, I had to follow up several times before my reservation was confirmed. On arrival, the room had multiple issues: the mattress was not just uncomfortable — it was painful to sleep on. I ended up laying on top of the duvet and even some of my clothes just to make it bearable. The pillows lacked support, the hob did not work, the kettle socket was faulty, and the tap leaked. I reported these problems to reception early in the day, but by the evening no action had been taken. Staff were unaware of my concerns and the manager was unavailable. Overall, the accommodation and service did not meet basic standards. I found the stay stressful and felt that essential maintenance and guest support were lacking.
