"My friends and I stayed here for 1 night and we enjoyed our stay. The location is good in terms of getting into the city. There is street parking available. Unfortunately the hob ignition was not working but the host was helpful and directed us to the lighter. Rooms are a good size and clean. The garden gate did not lock, so that needed to be fixed. But overall we had an enjoyable stay. The host is very responsive and communication is great!"

"The description does not state anywhere that this property is a a house share. It specially states when booking, that you and your guests will have entirety of the property to yourselves. Upon arrival, the host was at the property and told myself that he would be staying in the room above. There were no safety precautions in place to separate ourselves from the host. The host then offered us a refund, but when contacted by Expedia declined this. Appalling customer service."

"I was excited to be staying at the hotel, but unfortunately I left deflated. Room was okay but definitely could hear every single thing from the room next door. The floorboards were creaky. The room was outdated, it had a charm to it but it really didn't feel like they took care of it. Breakfast was really good, staff were friendly."

"Overall the hotel was great for a one night stay. It was clean, had air con and a free breakfast. Slightly limited for vegetarians but you can have pastries, beans and egg on toast. I found staff to be friendly and helpful. The car park was a little bit tight so be mindful in bigger cars. One thing that made me mark this down was the sofa bed, the springs were really uncomfortable and I struggled to get settled at night. My friends in the bed were happy enough. I would stay again, but in a proper bed next time."

"Very comfortable and well-appointed cottage, super-clean and with everything needed for a short stay. Felt like a home-from-home for us, and lovely to watch the cows in the next-door field! We would highly recommend to anyone, and two good pubs within walking distance as well, plus just a short drive into Sheffield or out onto the Peaks for fab walking."
