"Pros: Great location if you’re visiting / doing business in Ampthill. Great food and drinks downstairs. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cons: no on premise parking. Closest parking is a municipal lot…10 pounds for 24 hours. When I checked in my room was made up as 2 singles instead of a double as requested. Beds were a tad small & uncomfortable. Walls are thin, I could hear my neighbors “chatting” until midnight the night before I was planning on checking out. Otherwise...

"Cute well equipped room with a few issues…. A lovely big comfy bed, with good quality linen was let down by flat hard pillows. Grubby around the edges - unable to have window open as window arm broken, rug under bed very dirty. Lovely big white fluffy towels. Bathroom itself was also in need of a deep clean around the edges and the overhead shower needs fixing as the water flow was poor. Breakfast was good quality. "

"Great place to say with exceptional food as always even though we didn't eat there on dinner there on this occasion. We had a very comfortable sleep. The room was lovely. Guy is very friendly and goes over and beyond to cater to your needs and so do the other two gentlemen. We had a full English which was sublime. Compliments to the chef EVERYTIME.
