"The cabin kitchen had everything we could ask for, including coffee, filters and even a lobster pot. The spa area was luxurious with massaging jets in hot tub, steam sauna, and cold water rinse bucket! My daughter loved the pickle ball courts. Every interaction with staff was gracious and helpful. "This stay was our first time in PEI and it most certainly exceeded all our expectations! Kevin and Lourdes, our hosts, were most welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we maximized the benefit of our stay. Our stay was somewhat peculiar given the time of our visit, prior to the start of tourist season in the Cavendish. They let us know ahead of time what to expect as far as available attractions. We weren't necessarily looking for entertainment as much as we were seeking a week where we could "leave it all behind" and just relax. The Island Gales cottage during our stay provided the perfect setting for such a need. I was practically hypnotized sitting on the front porch, watching the trees swaying in the wind. The gusts cutting through the trees almost sound like waves crashing on the shore! And yet, services like grocery stores and restaurants were only a 10-15 minute drive, so isolation and access were in near perfect balance. PEI in general was a delight to drive around, especially during the time of our stay as there was no in-season tourist traffic to negotiate around. We already miss it, and we can't wait until we're able to visit again. Thank you so much, Kevin and Lourdes!"

"From the moment we arrived, we felt we were at a magical hotel that was so warm and cozy. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed staying there. The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. Each day there is a special event like tea and cookies in the evening or something equally enchanting. We would highly recommend to all our family and friends."

"The cabin is lovely—both inside and out. The kitchen is well-equipped with just about everything you’d need, and there are plenty of blankets and heaters in every room to keep things cozy and comfortable in the fall weather. The location was ideal for our trip and felt peaceful and private. There was a hiccup with the WiFi when we arrived, which made it a bit tricky to get in touch at first. However, once Scarlet received our message, she responded with kindness and got everything resolved right away. For future stays, I’d personally bring a backup hotspot or offline map—just in case—since cell service can be limited in remote areas. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing stay and really appreciated the care that’s clearly gone into making the cabin feel like a home away from home! "

"I would like to say this has been one of my best experiences. The cottage was exceptionally clean, equipped and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Everything needed for a perfect stay was provided in the best way, even better than a 5 star hotel The amenities were excellent, and the location was perfect, 2 mins drive to Green Gables heritage . Best place for relaxing. I truly appreciated the care and hospitality from the owners. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a very clean, comfortable, and cozy stay. I will definitely book this cottage for my next visit."
