"What an amazing stay we had! The property is just beautiful, the room is so spacious and comfortable, the meals were abundant and delicious, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the in-room open air onsen as well as the variety of private onsen on the property (great for when I wanted an early soak while husband was still sleeping). Parking was provided on the property as well, which was so convenient. I would recommend Suiun to anyone and would gladly stay here again!"

"The room was ok... not incredibly spacious. Our room was also overlooking the parking lot and a construction zone, so that was strange. We really couldn't keep the blinds open. The room was advertised having an onsen, and really it was just a deep bath. For $800+ a night, we were expecting more. No coffee in the lobby in the morning (except if you were having the $40 breakfast). The people working there weren't as friendly and accommodating as we found throughout the rest of Japan.
