"We stayed in the historic building in March and absolutely loved the charm and character of the property. The building itself is beautiful and added a unique touch to the experience. During our stay we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, sitting on the swings, and having meals poolside. It made for a wonderful, relaxing weekend getaway. The only small downside was that the room didn’t have a smart TV or the built-in charging stations we’ve become used to in many newer facilities. If you rely on those, it’s a good idea to bring your own full charger setup for phones, tablets, etc. That said, it actually encouraged us to spend less time in the room and more time enjoying everything the property had to offer. In the end, that turned out to be a much better way to spend the weekend. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return. "

"Plenty of parking, very clean fairly new or recently updated. Room was excellent and good free breakfast. Conveniently located. I would definarely stay here again."

"Overall, house and property were nice. Amenities were good.Living room and particularly the sofa, were inadequate. Sofa should have been replaced as it was sagging and uncomfortable. Lilmar group made a good effort to help but it really should have been replaced. It was unfortunate that we couldn't really relax and watch tv at the end of the days in a comfortable way, especially for our three week stay. Master bathroom had some issues - shower leaks, water and drains smell like sulfur, shower floor tiles are chipped. Overall it's a nice place that needs some TLC. I don't think any of this is a surprise. Area and location are excellent. Pool was nice although the weather only allowed for us to use it twice. Pool furniture needs some repair."

"Delighted to find this wonderful little retreat tucked away from the noise and traffic but still close to everything SSI has to offer. Lovely, clean, comfortable and convenient. Our little dog loved that she had a fenced in yard. Who could ask for anything more? "
