Cool place for its history but very old with few usual amenities like wall plugs. Good location, close to Sidney. Very good breakfast choices (not a buffet).
Comfortable bed. FYI, the Library Suite opens right onto the breakfast room.
Would not recommend for more than one night. We celebrated an anniversary with dinner at l'atier.
The location was nice with easy access to Sidney and local restaurants. The property was clean and well appointed. We loved the lounge area and outside patio. The breakfasts were good, the spinach Benedict was excellent. Staff was very helpful although their hours were limited. Parking was offsite but only a quick one- minute walk through a garden to the site. We enjoyed the Library Suite which was large and had its own sitting area. Only negative comment is that the exterior could use some maintenance and landscaping.
Great BNB. 100 year old home updated to provide a very comfortable welcoming stay. Staff was very good, and we enjoyed the made to order breakfast. Will definitely stay there for future trips.
Courteous staff. Good breakfast prepared to order. It is a dated facility with historic significance. It is away from city center but only a short cab ride to to shopping and eateries in Sidney. It is quite. The bed was comfortable.
Very cool hotel. Comfy bed, nice hotel staff and a lovely full breakfast included with your stay. Super pretty and quiet area too. Highly recommend!

Quaint, historical, nice place to stay. Some basics seemed like they could have been done to feel more comfortable in our room. I did not feel it was very clean and didn't want to look too closely/deeply. There were spider webs, dusty... the carpet seemed dingy/dirty in our room. The shower curtain did not go all the way around the claw footed tub, so water came out all over the floor, it seemed like it needed a little bit more of a "woman's touch" for the finishing details... We appreciated the woodwork and historical factor of this inn.
The staff were all very helpful and were extremely kind in suggestion etc.
The Inn was so very clean and very comfortable

It is a quaint , small inn with a long history, just located in the harbour corner. It seems like running by Indian owner now, I don’t feel it is clean enough, eg. I even didn’t touch the breakfast fruit, bcs I clearly saw the dirt on the grape.
Location was very nice and peaceful. Be aware this is a century home with no air conditioning. Only a problem if very warm temperatures expected. Supplied breakfast was excellent. Rooms were unique as is the building.
Good place to stay if you want somewhere quieter than central Victoria but close to airport too. The Latch Inn has alot of interesting history as well as it's traditional build and feel. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Could use a bit of modernisation in the rooms and make better use of both the garden and room balcony with access.
Loved the place. The room was so cute and cozy & clean. Bed was extremely comfy, slept great. The appy hour was good, pizza tasty. Breakfast was delicious! Staff extremely friendly and personable.
It was a lovely room, the breakfast was perfectly cooked and I would definitely stay again.

On the plus side:
Very comfortable bed!
Better than average shower.
Very good location, quiet surroundings.
Cons:
Rug needs cleaning.
Shower door handle needs replacing.
Breakfast choices very limited if you don’t eat eggs.
This is a unique property right near the water. Each room is unique, full of antique furniture, and modern upgraded bathrooms. The shower had good pressure which is often hard to find. The included breakfast had many options, but could use a little more imagination.
The breakfast was not what I expected; they got our order wrong, but overall it was a really great environment. The coffee in the lobby area with the view it has is worth a lot to experience.

This property is under new owners and, athough the service was very good, the upkeep and quality of the breakfast was not at the level of the previous owners. The 3 guys who remodeled and redesigned the property gave excellent service and a breakfast that was second to none!
