About this property
Lovely home in Eggedal with WiFi
Enjoy a relaxing break in this modern mountain chalet with sweeping views and a soothing outdoor hot tub.
Let your gaze wander over the countryside through the large windows in the living area. Beautiful wooden finishes, high ceilings and stylish furniture create a welcoming atmosphere. Relax in the comfortable armchairs or on the sofa and enjoy peaceful moments in front of the television or by the wood-burning stove. Prepare your meals in the open-plan kitchen with its cooking island and take a seat at the dining table with its panoramic views. If you wish, retreat to the cosy upper area with a sofa and TV.
Step out onto the spacious terrace and take in the impressive views of the surrounding mountains. Take a seat on the garden furniture or enjoy peaceful moments in the sun. For social gatherings, there’s also a barbecue hut where you can enjoy delicious barbecued meals together. Round off the day in the outdoor hot tub and feel the relaxing effects of the warm water. With a bit of luck, you might spot animals such as foxes or hares in the natural surroundings around the cottage.
Set off on hikes straight from the cottage and follow the numerous marked trails. Take a walk up Haglebu Natten and enjoy the view. In winter, you can enjoy downhill skiing and cross-country trails in the immediate vicinity, including an extensive network of groomed trails in Eggedalsfjella. You can also visit the Norefjell ski resort or explore the plateau with its wild reindeer population.
Located in Sigdal, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. Home of the Famous Artist Christian Skredsvig and Villa Fridheim are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Haglebu Skisenter and Nesbyen Alpinsenter. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby. Visit our Sigdal travel guide
