"Perfect for our family getaway! We traveled with 6 adults and 2 kids (5 & 7). We had plenty of room. The view from the house is beautiful. We all enjoyed spending time by the river. The location was perfect and convenient when visiting the aquarium and other attractions in the area. None of us were ready to leave. We would love to visit again in the future."

"The house sits directly on the river and has beautiful views from multiple balconies. The inside was clean and well prepared. The outside areas including the balconies are not cleaned so lots of spiderwebs & debris. The dock is solid and gives easy access to the river. The fish cleaning patio area had old trash, fish hooks, beer cans, & rotten wood -not child safe. The steps from the main patio to the back yard have been recently redone but one of them is 18” while the next is 10”. There swing next to the river is inaccessible due to holes in the riverbank. The hammock was a favorite however. The rocks are amazing and build into and around the house but several are loose. Inside the basement there is a seating group covering unfinished dirt floors on the back half of the room. The microwave has been installed about 16” over the oven making it difficult to access burner controls. It’s okay for the price but in need of repairs which in fairness the owner seems to be making around guests staying possibly not by a professional. There is also no generator (house is wired but generator has been removed) & we were without power for 15 hours - storm was no one’s fault but we were just out of luck/on own own. After I contacted the owner he sent me a jpeg of the area outages. Overall we had a good time and worked around the issues - view made up for most of it! Clean & comfortable not fancy more like staying at a friends place knowing you get what you get but love it anyway."

"Overall we had a pleasant stay. The house was in a quiet area. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Our grandkids really enjoyed fishing in the pond and making s’mores by the firepit. I would have given the property five stars except for a couple of minor issues. We notified the host and had a quick response and I believe these issues will be resolved. Also the barn door on the downstairs bathroom did not provide adequate privacy. With the door closed there was a sizable crack that someone passing by could see inside. Even with the issues I would stay at this property again."
