"We had a great time at this fun historic home in Barnard/Woodstock. It was the perfect location to hike, explore the area and spend a great time with our friends who lived right next door. Highly recommend."
"Bed was more comfortable than home. Dinner at Richardson’s Grill was fantastic.

"The location of this old schoolhouse is beautiful, and landscaping around the house is well done. My family enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Though furnishings and appliances were not perfect or top of the line, they were functional and adequate.We were not able to get the pin pad door lock or house key to work when we arrived and luckily one of the owners was able to let us in. The next day we were able to get the pin pad to reset and it worked well for the remainder of our stay. When we arrived, there were dishes in the dishwasher and were not clean. We found a couple dishes on the shelf that were not clean as well. We also found wet towels in the washing machine that had obviously been there for a while.Even with the above mentioned concerns, our overall stay was comfortable and pleasant."

"Very private and secluded chalet. Has its own driveway so it is like your own individual cabin in the woods. Come and go as you like without worry of interrupting anyone. Close to town and fishing and hiking. Very comfortable. Loved it. Had an opportunity to speak with the original builder/ owner about the history. "
