"The lady in the kitchen, her name was Michelle, she was the absolute best at customer service. She helped me w all my breakfast needs and even got a bag for me so I could pack up my leftovers."

"The room was very nice and looks like it was recently updated. Bedding and bathroom also looked updated. They offer complimentary coffee until 10 or 10:30 I believe, which I wish I knew, but the time we came down & tried to grab a cup they were packing up. We did try the breakfast buffe which I honestly did not like, I think they can do much better. Had to keep looking for someone every time I wanted something or had a question. Besides this minor detail, we enjoyed our stay, and would go back if we were in the neighborhood again. We just stayed for one night. Didn't get to check out the pool. Lobby was nice and clean and updated."

"This year our extended family chose the Heart Lake house as our annual family get-together. The house, property and lake were beyond our expectations. With 6 adults and 7 kids everyone had their own room with a TV and plenty of space to do whatever. Highlight for the kids was hours spent fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and game room. With the outside grille and amazingly equipped large kitchen it was a pleasure to prepare meals and a LARGE dining room table and 3 outdoor picnic tables provided comfortable seating as a family. Stores and local day trip sightseeing destinations were easily found. Sitting around the campfire completed the day’s fun and relaxation for all! Thank you"

"I would have given 4.5 stars if I could have instead of 4. Our disappointment was with the sunroom - that was the main selling point of the house and where we wanted to spend all of our time but it was hot with no cross breeze - only 5 of the 12 windows had screens and the screens were in bad shape. On the plus side, all the beds and furniture were very comfortable, it was very clean except the outdoor table and chairs and communication with Jess was excellent. We would definitely come back in cooler weather. River view was awesome. I recommend unlike us you bring napkins, paper towels, tinfoil/parchment paper, and paper plates. If not, there are dollar stores very close. Trains didn’t bother us."
