Very cozy and welcoming. All the comforts of home and then some.
We loved this place! Very clean, cozy, and just as listed. I had the best morning sitting on the front porch with my coffee. It was also convenient to get to the most popular Shawnee National Forest hikes.
From the moment we got to the cabin we were in love. It was perfect for a little getaway and to go on hikes in the area. It had everything that we may need and was very cozy. Our favorite part was the hot tub, of course. Very clean, very cute. If you book this place make sure to NOT follow the GPS location it provides you because it is absolutely wrong! The host directions of where the cabin is is the best way to navigate where you’re going, which is what we should have done in the first place. Overall we loved this place and plan on retuning soon!
House was very clean, had everything we needed, and was a fun stay. Is has a lot of space outside for your pets as well! The only thing was getting there was a little confusing, if you are not familiar with the area, so definitely get clear directions from the host before arriving to that area cause there is no signal when you get close to the cabin :)Other than that it was a great place to stay, I definitely recommend!
The property is amazing. We had a lot of fun hanging together with the kids enjoying nature. The only issues was the pin on the map is not accurate at all. I've always used it in the past the time took us down a very scary road that i thought we would get stuck.
When we arrived the GPS was incorrect and we were starting to freak. We called the owner and she immediately dropped what she always doing and drove to meet us and personally lead the way to the property. There is nothing to be needed once you are there. They had thought of everything. There is limited food and resources around, so bring the necessary food and drinks you would need.
