We had a pleasant stay overall. The condo was comfortable and nicely appointed. While the balcony didn’t offer much of an ocean view due to the palm trees, and the pool area also lacked ocean views, both spaces were quiet and relaxing.The amenities and on-site restaurants were clean, convenient, and delicious. Parking was easy as well.We did encounter a pest issue during our stay, but management responded quickly and took steps the next day to address the problem. Because of this, we did notice a few areas inside the cabinets that weren’t as clean as expected.There isn’t a full-size oven in the unit, but the cooktop worked extremely well and the instructions provided for all appliances were clear and helpful. One small note: the spices in the condo weren’t very reliable due to the humidity, so it’s a good idea to check what’s available before heading to the store.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sint Michiel at Blue Bay. The location felt very safe and the walk to the beach was incredibly quick. The beach itself was beautiful, with warm water, plenty of chairs, good restaurants, and since it’s private, it never felt crowded. The pool at the complex was great too.The condo had everything we needed: air conditioning that worked perfectly, a full kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and coffee maker, and even a washer and dryer. The dryer took us a minute to figure out since we’re American and not used to the type that requires emptying the water cartridge, but once we read the handbook it worked just fine.The only small thing that would have made the stay even better is direct pool access from the back porch. Since we were on an upper level, we had to walk around the building to reach the pool or beach, but it wasn’t a big deal at all.Overall, it was a really comfortable, convenient place to stay, and we’d happily come back.

Love the Shore

Enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay. This is the best location with all the amenities you need. Unit was clean and as pictured. Communication was great and loved meeting Gina who was extremely welcoming. would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend. The resort is gorgeous and the owner is extremely nice. We had some issues with power but the owner, Sheila, tried her absolute best to rectify them. The beach has to be one of the best on the island (great snorkeling and snorkel gear provided by the host) and the pool and golf course are great as well!!!

The apartment was spacious and just beautiful. Everything we wanted in a place to stay. Close to pool and beach. Easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Gina was an amazing host. She always answered promptly and took care of any needs we had. One of the 3 showers was not working which caused a little delay in getting ready after the beach with our family of 6. That was the only flaw. Other than that we highly recommend this place and would definitely rebook.

Beautiful Condo

This condo is beautiful and spacious. It’s even better than the pictures. We stayed for nine days and it had everything we needed. We did not want to leave and hope to return in the near future. If you’re thinking about booking a vacation in Curacao, make sure to read the fine print. Many condos/ homes will turn the AC off during the day. This condo allows the AC to stay ON day and night which was very much appreciated. The property had a lot of safety features including a security check point at the main gate to access Blue Bay and another locked gate to access the condos. The elevator and stairs will only allow you to access your floor. The pool on the property was beautiful and my kids had so much fun in it. The beach is just past the pool and has several bars/ restaurants. There were plenty of chairs and we saw lots of beautiful fish while snorkeling there. The kitchen had all we needed and my family ate most meals at the condo since my kids are picky eaters. The fridge and freezer size was fine for our family of four. We had no problem refrigerating/freezing everything we bought. My kids slept in the twin beds and told us that they were very comfortable. The king bed was comfortable but sags in the middle.

Great Stay at Blue Bay

My wife and I stayed at this property for the month February. Our review is based on this length of stay. Pros: In our opinion, the best location in Blue Bay! A quick walk to the beach and beautiful pool. Close to Willemstad and grocery stores. Wednesday and Friday free entertainment on the beach with beach bar and drink specials. The unit is very spacious, modern and clean. It was nice having a washer and dryer. The outdoor patio is spacious with a partial ocean view. It has central air that works great. Cons: A very small refrigerator (dorm size). Not ideal for a month stay. Oven/microwave combo is old and frustrating to use. instructions do not match the model in the unit. The bed in the primary bedroom needs replacing. It is worn out and very uncomfortable. There was a bad odor coming from the primary shower drain. The pool has only 8 lounges for 30 plus units. This led to the early morning "towel game" some days. Gina, the property manager tried to fix this, but it returned after several days. Gina is very easy to contact and did respond to all requests/concerns. Overall, we had a great stay. Some of the cons would not have been an issue with a shorter stay.I would suggest the owner/property manager provide a map/clear directions to the Shore. Blue Bay is a very large community and the Shore is not easy to find. We drove all over Blue Bay for 30 minutes before getting help from a service truck to find it.

Great Stay

Unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. Gina, the property manager, was super friendly and helpful to accommodate our arrival and departure. She also provided suggestions for activities on the island. Beach and restaurants near the resort were easily accessible and enjoyable. Will look to stay here first if we return to Curacao!

Blue Bay

Very nice place. Beautiful surroundings, just as advertised. Pool area was clean and uncrowded. There is a lot of construction going on around the area and a giant backhoe was busy tearing out a coral hillside to the south which made quite a racket most days. Also, although the grounds were beautiful, the groundskeeper spent several days leaf blowing and weed whacking which just made it difficult to enjoy the pool.

Perfect Location

This condo is the perfect spot for a getaway. The unit is just as the picture show and very well appointed. Only steps from a stunning beach, a great bar and wonderful restaurants. I would recommend renting a car to visit the Islands other stunning beaches which are not really that far from Blue Bay. Also the grocery store is a 5 minute drive. Gina the onsite property manager is absolutely wonderful. We had asked for a few recommendations things to see and her advice was perfect. Sheila, the owner, was very receptive and quick to respond to all of our pre-trip questions. When we go back to Curacau we will certainly stay here again but make sure it is longer than 7 days.

Best Vacation Property Ever - Happy 37th Anniversary To Us!

Check in was easy, met by Rebeca and shown around the property. Very secure and safe. Immaculately decorated and we were presented with an assortment of snacks, variety of drink options (including a beer and wine), kitchen well stocked with seasonings if you chose to cook, sugar and coffee. I was thrilled there was a blender so we could make our pina coladas and daiquiris. Several electrical adapters were provided for use throughout the condo during our stay - very thoughtful and much appreciated.The view was overlooking the pool and the beach which was just a short walk down and around the building. 3 restaurant options right there on beach. Gina and Rebeca were very attentive and responsive. They thought of everything including laundry pods and dryer sheets for 3 loads - that made my husband very happy to be able to wash his clothes before we departed. We really enjoyed the spaciousness and luxury of the accommodations. We met wonderful neighbors at the beach and made great friends and memories. We look forward to returning to Curaçao and hope to stay at The Shore again! Highly recommended for a couple seeking space and luxury or a family. It was the perfect home away from home in Curaçao, for us! Can’t wait to return! Thanks for everything Rebeca and Gina!

Girls Beach Get Away

The condo is beautiful and modern. Just like the photos. Located on a beautiful bay with good restaurants and a beach bar and pool. The bay not only has calm water for swimming and floating but also has great snorkeling. There were many variety of fish. The property manager was incredibly helpful quick to communicate. We really appreciated her patience when we got lost trying to find the condo the first night. Our flight arrived late and we were finding our way after dark unfortunately using the wrong map. The map she sent was accurate. We highly recommend this location and this condo. Traveled to a few other beaches and this remained our favorite.

Beautiful view

The condo was a beautiful place to stay for 6 nights with 4 long-time friends. We enjoyed Gina's help with booking a car and recommending outings. Check-in and out was easy. Blue Bay is a really nice beach with a cute bar and restaurant. We found plenty of beach chairs on the days we stayed at the resort. It's a good location for relaxing, but it is a quick drive into Willemstad.

Wonderful Location and Beautiful Condo

We had a lovely stay at The Shore condo. It was clean and comfortably furnished. Gina, the property manager was easy to contact and responsive when we reported a wasp issue in the pool shower area. Absolutely perfect

Gina was punctual and easy to communicate with. She had great suggestions from car rental to activity. Great grocery store was just a short drive up the street. A car really is required if you want to leave the resort. The unit was very spacious with everything you could need. Washer and dryer (ask how to use). Very large outdoor patio as close to the beach as you can get. A couple of nights there was entertainment at the beach that we enjoyed on our balcony. This was family friendly and ended early. Read the board by the beach bar for schedule as we missed it. People get up early to get chairs in the shade early. You must have one person using the chairs in order to save which is totally fair. Nice restaurants at the beach. We for sure would stay here again. There was five of us.

Fantastic Vacation

We loved our condo and Curaçao very much! The unit was just as described. Only thing that wasn’t available as stated was a workout facility that was closed for the holidays. We had one issue with the door handle and it was taken care of right away. Place was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Blue Bay Beach is beautiful with some of the best snorkeling we did right there and only a couple minute walk away. Snorkeling gear provided by host. We liked all the restaurants and staff on property and the boys enjoyed a day of golf. They rented clubs right from the Golf facilities. We sure hope to make it back someday!!
